The world is in danger. At one time there were 1,300 different plants, trees and flowers in Holland, but now only 860 remain(剩余). The others have been destroyed(破坏) by man. We are changing the earth, the air, the water and everything that grows and lives. We can't live without these things. If we continue doing like this, we will destroy ourselves.

    What will happen in the future? Perhaps it is more important to ask "What must we do now?" The people who will be living in the world of tomorrow are the young of today. A lot of them know that conservation(对自然环境的保护) is necessary. Many are helping to save our world. They plant trees and protect animals in forest. In a small town in the United States, a large group of volunteers cleaned the banks of their rivers. Young people may hear about conservation through a record called No One's Going to Change Our World. It was made by the Beatles, Cliff Richard and other singers. The money from it will help to protect wild animals.

All our dreams have something to do with (与…有关) our feelings, fears, longings, wishes, needs and memories. But something on the "outside" may have {#blank#}1{#/blank#} influence on {#blank#}2{#/blank#} we dream. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} a person is hungry or tired or cold, his dream may include a feeling of this kind. So the subject of your dream usually comes from something that has an influence on you while you are sleeping (feeling of cold, a noise, a discomfort, etc.) {#blank#}7{#/blank#} it may also use your past experiences and the wishes and interests you have now. Why is music important to people? Because life{#blank#}1{#/blank#}music wouldn't be active. Different kinds of music express different life experiences. So, when we listen to different kinds of music, they can bring us different {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. For example, rock music can make us {#blank#}3{#/blank#}, classical music can make us relaxed; and country music can make us think of the beautiful country life. At different ages, people have different ideas about music. Young people today enjoy pop music {#blank#}4{#/blank#}their parents prefer listening to classical music. Perhaps this is. because young people are {#blank#}5{#/blank#}with energy and faster music can let their energy come out. Their parents have worked very hard during the day and they have got tired when they come back home. So, they would like to listen to classical music to make themselves relaxed. 

Imagine （想象） walking into a movie theater without being greeted by the smell of popcorn. It's hard to believe, isn't it? For many people, popcorn goes hand in hand with movies. They can't have one without the other. But 1  did this happen?

You can save money if you buy clothes that are well made.Well-made clothes last longer.They look good even after they have been washed many times. However, clothes that cost more money are not always better made.They do not always fit better.Sometimes less expensive clothes look and fit better than more expensive clothes.
