Emily, an eight-year-old girl, is not very {#blank#}1{#/blank#} because she has so many rules to obey every day.

     She also has to keep some rules at home. For example, she can't hang out {#blank#}9{#/blank#} watch TV after school. She has to finish her homework first. She can't meet friends on school nights. And she has to be in {#blank#}10{#/blank#} by nine o'clock. {#blank#}11{#/blank#} Weekends, she has to clean her room and {#blank#}12{#/blank#} her clothes. What an unhappy girl!

    One day before my final exam, my dad gave me a gift. It completely changed my life.
