Do you know this story? {#blank#}1{#/blank#}July 11 of every year, a local office of Project Hope receives a donation from a person{#blank#}2{#/blank#}  Xu Qin. But investigation (调查) shows that Xu Qin died in1994.
   Xu Qin was Liu Wenzhen's youngest daughter. She died in a traffic accident on July 11, 1994. Ever since, Liu Wenzhen has been in the habit of making a donation {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Project Hope on that date to commemorate (纪念) her daughter's death. 
   What has Mrs Liu done is simply helping to{#blank#}4{#/blank#}her daughter's dream. “I have always dreamed{#blank#}5{#/blank#}  becoming a teacher in the countryside because that is{#blank#}6{#/blank#}  my father lived,” Xu Qin once said.
   Project Hope is built to {#blank#}7{#/blank#}children to be able to go to school. Many people make a commitment to the project all over the world. In China the project began in 1985.
   As a student, we can also do {#blank#}8{#/blank#}to support this project. We may save our money and donate it to Project Hope. Maybe we can teach those children{#blank#}9{#/blank#}  can't go to school some day. We can also {#blank#}10{#/blank#} others to do something for the project.

    Have you ever visited another country? It is  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} to visit another country, but there are sometimes {#blank#}2{#/blank#} when we don't know the language very well. It may be {#blank#}3{#/blank#} to talk with the people in that country. We may not know how to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the telephone in that country. We may not know {#blank#}5{#/blank#} to buy the things we need. In a(n) {#blank#}6{#/blank#} country we might not know where to eat or how to order in a restaurant. It is not easy to decide how much to tip waiters or taxi {#blank#}7{#/blank#} . When we need help, we might not know how to ask for help. It is {#blank#}8{#/blank#} to have an experience like that. After a short time, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} , we learn what to do and what to say. We learn to {#blank#}10{#/blank#} life in that country, and then we may be sad when we have to leave.

    I'm not much of a crier most of the time. But {#blank#}1{#/blank#} when I was reading a book on a plane, I started crying. Of course, it came as a big surprise when tears came up, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't {#blank#}2{#/blank#} myself.

    Oh no, not this now. I thought to myself. But even as the thought entered my brain. I felt the {#blank#}3{#/blank#} hot drop of salty water coming down my face. I put my head down, hoping that I could go on reading.

    In fact, the harder I tried, the more tears pushed their way out of my eyes. You could guess how surprised the man next to me looked.

    My head {#blank#}4{#/blank#} in shame. He must think I was crazy. Maybe I could turn towards him, hold up the cover of the book and say in my crying voice. "I'm sorry, sir. It's just a really good book!" But I didn't, say anything. Instead, I just put my head back against the {#blank#}5{#/blank#} and let the tears run. Do you know what decision I made while I was crying? My decision was that it was OK if he thought I was crazy. I preferred to be crazy instead of being the kind of person who wouldn't cry when the situation called for it, or who wouldn't let {#blank#}6{#/blank#} feel anything at all.

    I've been that girl who has spent so much time trying to make sure people didn't think f was crazy. But now I don't want to be that girl any more —that bored and {#blank#}7{#/blank#} girl. I'd rather {#blank#}8{#/blank#} this girl who is able to forgive (原谅), love and act, even if it means being disappointed or being hurt again and again.
