    When I got to your table, you looked at me and asked, “Do you know {#blank#}4{#/blank#}it is like to have a child with autism(自闭症)?” You were not rude when you asked the question. On {#blank#}5{#/blank#}contrary, you were quite polite.

    I know what I was supposed {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(say) when I went to your table, but I just wished you a happy meal and promised that your meal tonight was on me. Although I didn't know {#blank#}7{#/blank#}to answer your question, as a father of a 5-year-old boy, I do know the feeling of {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(be) a parent.

    I wrote this to you and your beautiful daughter because I wanted to thank you both. You have taught me a {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(value) lesson and given me a great restaurant memory. Nothing can prevent me {#blank#}10{#/blank#}doing the right thing. Sometimes doing the right thing does not make everyone happy; just the people who need it the most.

    The Mid-Autumn festival is a harvest festival {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (celebrate) on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar. It celebrates three fundamental concepts, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} are closely tied to one another: gathering, such as family and friends {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (come) together, or harvesting crops for the festival; Thanksgiving, to give thanks for the harvest, or for harmonious unions; praying {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (sincere) for beauty, longevity, babies, marriage {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (partner) or for a good future.

    Traditions and myths surrounding the festival {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (form) around these three concepts, although traditions have changed over time due to significant changes {#blank#}7{#/blank#} technology, science, economy, culture and religion. It's about well-being together.

    The festival was a time when people enjoyed the {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (success) reaping（收获）of rice and wheat with food offerings made in honor of the moon. Today, people still mark {#blank#}9{#/blank#}occasion with similar activities. They have outdoor reunions among friends and relatives to eat mooncakes and watch the moon, a symbol of {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (harmonious) and unity.

    Recently a really strange thing happened in a middle school in China's Hubei Province. Over 600 students there took part in a "caring for an egg like a baby"{#blank#}1{#/blank#} (active), in which they were asked to keep an egg close at hand for a month{#blank#}2{#/blank#}breaking it.

    "It's hard for parents to bring up their children {#blank#}3{#/blank#} many students just ignore it," said Liu Kang, the school's director. "They should {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (teach) to be grateful to their parents, who have given them life but ask for nothing in return."

    Li Ming is one of the students. His egg didn't break during the month, but he felt   {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(exhaust). This{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(official)marked day of Mandarin language celebration was set by the United Nations as a way of {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(celebrate) the language's history and contributions to the world.{#blank#}5{#/blank#} is hoped that having one day every year to celebrate Mandarin will encourage more people around the world to take it up. With China likely to become the {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(large) economy in the world, it is important that the wider world becomes interestingly more perfect in this wonderful language. Every year UN Chinese Language Day {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(fall) on April 20. A great way {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(get) involved in the celebration is to join a Mandarin class or attend one of the Confucius Institutes(孔子学院){#blank#}9{#/blank#}are set up by China in countries around the world. The number of people learning Chinese is on {#blank#}10{#/blank#}increase in China's neighboring countries, such as Korea, Japan, and Vietnam.
