Each week New York-based hairstylist Mark Bustos tries to make a small difference in people's lives {#blank#}1{#/blank#} giving haircuts to homeless people.

    During the week,Mark works in his high-class salon,but each Sunday,he walks around the city asking people {#blank#}2{#/blank#} they'd like a haircut.He then gives them a stylish haircut {#blank#}3{#/blank#} same kind he would give to any paying customer, except these are done for free for those who are homeless or cannot afford a haircut {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (them).

    Mark's work began in 2012 when visiting family in the Philippines.Instead of jus {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (take) a typical,relaxing vacation,he decided to give poor local children haircuts."I felt so happy doing it that I've continued since returning," Mark explains.

    Changing someone's appearance can have a huge impact on their life.Remember the homeless retired soldier who received a make-over?He found a job,? {#blank#}6{#/blank#}  (rent)a house and quit drinking alcohol afterwards. {#blank#}7{#/blank#}  (simple) changing how a person looks can give them a huge increase in {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (confident).

    Mark Bustos proves that there are many ways {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (give),and that you can easily use your {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (person) abilities to make a difference in somebody's life.

    Any bird that crossed his path would be eaten by Rex, a German shepherd. Rex{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(rescue) from his previous shelter, where he was going to be put down after a biting incident. Last year, he{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(eventual) arrived at Puriton Horse and Animal Rescue.

    Geraldine was a goose abandoned by owners who could no longer put up {#blank#}3{#/blank#} her. She wasn't exactly the picture of {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(warm), either, when she arrived at the same shelter three months ago. The dog and the goose were individually given labels like cruel and dangerous. Neither seemed particularly harmonious with humans or even members of their own species.

    But when the two {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(annoy) creatures were offered a chance to hang out together, something magical happened. They chased each other when first {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(introduce), but Geraldine stood up for herself and that was that. They just fell in love with each other.

    “I've been doing rescue work since 1997 and seen all {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(kind) of strange animal behavior, but I've never seen anything like this,” said Sheila Brislin, {#blank#}8{#/blank#}is the founder of the shelter. “It's so amusing to see them because they love each other to bits. They are very affectionate. She just{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(run) around alongside him all day long and whenever we take him for {#blank#}10{#/blank#}walk in the woods she has to come, too.”

    We face many difficulties day to day and when we get caught up in the storm of our emotions, we end up saying and doing things {#blank#}1{#/blank#} we regret later. Neither at school {#blank#}2{#/blank#} at home have we been shown how to deal with anger, sorrow or any negative emotion.

    The knowledge of the breath {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (teach) in the Art of Living course plays {#blank#}4{#/blank#} important role. When you cannot handle your mind {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (direct), through the breath you can handle it.     Practicing the power of breathing skills {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (help) you get rid of negative emotions naturally. In fact, the frequency of anger and stress reduces hugely. Your ability {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (accept) situations increases. Instead of {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (react) hurriedly, you get the quality to respond to the situations and take {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (reason) action. No matter what emotions come and go, learn to enjoy your life with your loved ones.
