We have a lot of trouble in our life, but we have to face them. When you are feeling unhappy or forget how great you are, there are six ways to make you{#blank#}1{#/blank#} good about yourself.

    (1)Look in the mirror (镜子) and say to{#blank#}2{#/blank#} ,“I'm a special person and there's no one in the world{#blank#}3{#/blank#} me. I can do anything!” It may not{#blank#}4{#/blank#} so good, but it really works!

    (2)Do something {#blank#}5{#/blank#}for someone. {#blank#}6{#/blank#}others always makes you feel good.

    (3)Smile! Be{#blank#}7{#/blank#} to people you meet. Look for the good things in your friends and family.

    (4)Learn something new! Have you always wanted to decorate your own room or learn{#blank#}8{#/blank#} to swim? Go for it! New challenges (挑战) are fun and give you a sense of accomplishment when you have finished.

    (5)Read and start a diary. Turn off the TV and let your imagination(想象) fly! If you have any thoughts, dreams or anything you want, {#blank#}9{#/blank#}them down! Writing always helps to express your feelings.

    (6)Stay with your family. We all {#blank#}10{#/blank#} our family time. Talk with your Mum and Dad or maybe even your cousin.

    When I told my friends my family was going to move from the city to the countryside，they couldn't believe it．I was {#blank#}1{#/blank#}because I'd never been out of the city before．Would{#blank#}2{#/blank#}be very different?Well,see for your self.

    Many things are different about the city and the countryside．In the city,we {#blank#}3{#/blank#}in a tall building．Our building was filled with(装满)people，but I only knew a few of {#blank#}4{#/blank#}．Now we live in all old farmhouse．Our nearest neighbours(邻居)are bout one kilometre away．But all the neighbours are{#blank#}5{#/blank#}．They often come to visit us with lots of food．

    However,some things in the city and the countryside are the {#blank#}6{#/blank#}．In the city,my mum and I{#blank#}7{#/blank#}to go shopping at the weekend．We went to different shopping centres．Here in the countryside we{#blank#}8{#/blank#}shop in farmers' markets at the weekend．The greatest thing that is the some is friends．I made some good friends in both the city and the countryside.We do homework and read{#blank#}9{#/blank#}together every day．

When I think about the most important things．{#blank#}10{#/blank#}family and Mends，maybe there aren't so many differences between the city and the countryside．Personally,I think they're both great．

    Many years ago, there was a family named Franklin. They lived in Boston. There were five girls and six boys in the family. On a January day in 1706 another baby was born. The boy's mother and her husband gave the boy a {#blank#}1{#/blank#} —Benjamin. Benjamin was the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} of all the children. He could read when he was five and he could write when he was seven. The next year his parents sent him to {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. At school Benjamin was good at reading and writing, but not good at math. He read all of his father's {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. And when he had money, he {#blank#}5{#/blank#} went to buy books. He liked books. They told him {#blank#}6{#/blank#} to do something. The boy liked to use his head and tried to {#blank#}7{#/blank#} ways to help people enjoy life more. For example, he tried to know if there was some way to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} farther, maybe with something on his hands or feet. Slowly a picture of swimming shoes, or paddles, grew in his {#blank#}9{#/blank#}. The paddles must be neither too{#blank#}10{#/blank#} nor too small. And they must be neither too heavy nor too light. At last he invented the paddle for swimming.
