It is unnecessary for the journalists to take a camera {#blank#}1{#/blank#} they have {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (专业的) photographers with them .The journalists should be curious and they must have a good “nose” for  a story and use research to  inform themselves {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the missing parts of the story. They know {#blank#}4{#/blank#} to acquire the information they need ,and they will not be rude while {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (采访).They will listen to the interviewee {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (careful) rather than talk too much themselves .They have to listen for {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (detail) facts and prepare the next question  depending  on {#blank#}8{#/blank#} the person says.  {#blank#}9{#/blank#} the interviewee agrees, they can use a recorder to get the facts straight so as to support {#blank#}10{#/blank#} stories .

    Now a hot topic{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(discuss) about whether the old computers in our school should be replaced{#blank#}2{#/blank#}new ones. With the rapid{#blank#}3{#/blank#} ( develop) of science and technology, there is no doubt {#blank#}4{#/blank#}our old computers are totally out of date. The headmaster as well as the teachers and students{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(be) not satisfied with the slow working speed of the computers.     As I write this, I'm sitting on a bus back to Santiago in Chile where I am currently working{#blank#}1{#/blank#}a language assistant. I've just spent the weekend in a city called La Serena north of Santiago. I was lucky enough to see the flowering desert, a natural phenomenon that {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(occur) around every five years here in the Atacama Desert.

    {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(catch) a glimpse of this magnificent treasure of nature, we took a bus from La Serena to a nearby town and then rented a car to go to the desert.{#blank#}7{#/blank#} we saw did not disappoint us, and as expected it was even more fascinating than the pictures we had seen online. The bloom was particularly {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(impress) this year due to the strong presence of El Niño (a band of warm water in the Pacific Ocean that changes the temperatures and increases the rainfall in certain areas). The vast carpet of colour {#blank#}9{#/blank#} spread into the distance towards the contrasting green hills was {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(simple) breathtaking and deserved a large amount of photos! A real reminder of the beauty our planet can provide.

He admitted that someone {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (try) to bribe him，but denied taking the money. With the recording，{#blank#}9{#/blank#} was proved that he was guilty. He was{#blank#}10{#/blank#} (anger) and tried to stop it，but failed.

Comets are among the most beautiful and interesting {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(sight) in the universe. For centuries, people {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(show) great interest in studying them. In 1682, Edmund Halley, an astronomer, noticed a comet that was especially bright and large. Based on his calculations, Halley predicted that this bright comet would return in 1758 or 1759—this was about 75 years {#blank#}3{#/blank#} he first saw the comet. The comet really returned on time and it was named "Halley's Comet" in honor of Edmund Halley.
