Dear Mum and Dad,

    I will go to Kathy's home with her after school and I will have  and sleep there. Don't worry about me. You know that Kathy is one of my (good) friends. If you want to talk with me, you can call 82552828 after 6:00 pm.

    Please forgive（原谅）me for not telling you first. I don't think you will allow me to do so.  I really think teenagers（十几岁的青少年） can be allowed to stay at  friends' homes sometimes. I am sixteen years old and I'm not a little kid at all. I hope I can make decisions for myself.

    At home, there are too many rules for me to obey: Don't wear those short  (dress); don't stay out so late; don't have meals before washing ; watch TV after  (finish) your homework; clean your room every day; put everything in their place Parents should be strict with teenagers, but we  need freedom(自由).

    I don't like doing my homework alone at home. I'd love  (study) with Kathy. We always learn a lot from each other. So please allow me to stay at Kathy's home  a week. If you agree, Kathy can stay at our home with me, too.

    Mum and Dad, I can take good care of myself. Don't worry.
