Last month, Jack went to swim in the sea. He swam really far, past the rocks and out to sea. He enjoyed  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(he)swimming in the blue sea.

    Then he saw something {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(move) towards him. It was huge and gray, {#blank#}3{#/blank#}a large fin. It was a shark! {#blank#}4{#/blank#}shark started to swim around him. Jack began to swim back, {#blank#}5{#/blank#}the beach was too far away.

    Jack was really scared. Suddenly another creature appeared next to him in the water. It was a dolphin! It pushed him away from the shark. Jack sat{#blank#}6{#/blank#} its back as it swam towards the beach.

    Soon they were near the beach. The shark did not follow them. As soon as Jack {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (step) onto the beach, the dolphin swam away. He will always remember how this {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (friend) animal saved his life.

    This is not just a story. In fact, dolphins do save people's {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(life)like that. There are also many dangerous things in the sea, so take {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(careful)when you go swimming.

    Clothes are traditionally made of natural materials, such {#blank#}1{#/blank#} cotton, leather and wool. They are all from plants or animals, but that doesn't mean they are {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (friend) to the earth. For example, farmers sometimes have {#blank#}3{#/blank#} use a lot of chemicals to grow cotton plants.

    Scientists now {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (look for) new ways to make clothing materials. They hope the new materials are both comfortable and good for the earth. So far, scientists{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (work) out how to make materials out of corn husks (壳), chicken feathers and rice straws. I think more and more people will like to buy these kinds of clothes.
