Once upon a time, a blind man was sitting at the roadside with a hat by his feet. There was a sign beside him, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (say), “I am blind. Please help me.” {#blank#}2{#/blank#} good many passers-by walked by him, but few of them helped him.

    A creative young man named Tom was going to his office. While walking by the blind man, he stopped {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(see) that the man only had a few coins in his hat.     Zhang Jianxing has been walking through the ancient forests of the Shennongjia National Nature Reserve for over two decades to find the wild man. He will not give up until he {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (come) face-to-face with the creature. He began living in the mountain in 1994, after becoming {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(fascinate) by the wild man.     There are about 100 million middle-aged women dancing in parks and on squares in China, and Deborah Roundy,{#blank#}1{#/blank#} U.S retired school teacher, is one of them.

    Mrs. Roundy is the only foreigner on the Shanghai dance team at Tongji University, where she is {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (current) teaching English.

    Mrs. Roundy ran upon a dozen or so middle-aged women dancing {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the tunes of Chinese songs in 2012. At the time, she didn't feel used to the new environment and wanted to have some fun in her life. She {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (invite) to join the dancing team.

    Square dancing opens a window for her {#blank#}10{#/blank#}（understand） China, Mrs. Roundy said: Besides dancing, she and her husband have been active in community life, teaching English, and helping elderly neighbors.

    People often have trouble {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (get) used to a new culture because they need a long time to adapt to it. Smiling

    Smile is a universal language, which is widely used throughout the world. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}, the meaning of a smile in different cultures may be different.
