Last week I interviewed one of our teachers, Mr Smith. We talked about learning styles.

    A learning style is the way one learns best. Everybody has their own learning style, which we have had {#blank#}1{#/blank#} the day we were born. Learning styles have {#blank#}2{#/blank#} to do with intelligence ( 智慧 ) or with any skills we have learned ; {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  have everything to do with the way in which our brain works best.

    There is no "right" way to learn, because everyone is {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. The important thing is to try to understand what our own learning style is, so that we can benefit(受益) from it and do better in {#blank#}5{#/blank#}And I think that's something we all wish for!

    There are three different learning styles: auditory (听觉的), visual ( 视觉的) and kinesthetic (动觉的). To {#blank#}6{#/blank#}out what your learning style is, you need to consider the {#blank#}7{#/blank#} in which you perform a certain task. The example Mr Smith gave was to think about how you {#blank#}8{#/blank#}a phone number. If you "see" the number in your mind's eye, or "picture" the number on a piece of paper, you are probably a visual learner; if you " {#blank#}9{#/blank#} " the number , you are probably an auditory learner; if you dial(拨) the number {#blank#}10{#/blank#}looking at the phone, you are probably a kinesthetic learner.

B: I {#blank#}3{#/blank#} to Beijing with my cousin.

A : {#blank#}4{#/blank#}did you do there？

B: We {#blank#}5{#/blank#} the Palace Museum and the Summer Palace.

A: {#blank#}6{#/blank#} was the {#blank#}7{#/blank#} there？

B: It was sunny and {#blank#}8{#/blank#}.

A: {#blank#}9{#/blank#} you have a {#blank#}10{#/blank#} time？

B: Yes, I did.

A: Hi, John. How was your April Fool's Day?

B: It was terrible. One of my friends invited me to a costume party.

A: That {#blank#}1{#/blank#} good. Why do you say it was terrible?

B: By the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} I got to the party, I realized I had been fooled, because I was the only one that was wearing a costume.

A: Oh, I see. That was really terrible.

B: What {#blank#}3{#/blank#} you, Ann?

A: I was tired on April Fool's Day.

B: What was {#blank#}4{#/blank#}？

A: My friends told me that we were going to have a math test the next day. I studied the whole night and was exhausted(精疲力竭的).

B: What {#blank#}5{#/blank#} next?

A: Then the next day I found they had fooled me. We didn't have a test.

B: Oh, poor Ann. You should go and have a good rest.
