选词填空

Last week I interviewed one of our teachers, Mr Smith. We talked about learning styles.

A learning style is the way one learns best. Everybody has their own learning style, which we have had  the day we were born. Learning styles have  to do with intelligence ( 智慧 ) or with any skills we have learned ;   have everything to do with the way in which our brain works best.

There is no "right" way to learn, because everyone is . The important thing is to try to understand what our own learning style is, so that we can benefit(受益) from it and do better in And I think that's something we all wish for!

There are three different learning styles: auditory (听觉的), visual ( 视觉的) and kinesthetic (动觉的). To out what your learning style is, you need to consider the  in which you perform a certain task. The example Mr Smith gave was to think about how you a phone number. If you "see" the number in your mind's eye, or "picture" the number on a piece of paper, you are probably a visual learner; if you "  " the number , you are probably an auditory learner; if you dial(拨) the number looking at the phone, you are probably a kinesthetic learner.

Subject: The Riding for the Disabled Association
Hi Christine,
Sorry I haven't emailed lately —I've been very busy since becoming a volunteer for the Riding for the Disabled Association.
Every Saturday, I help to get the horses {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  for the disabled(残疾) riders. Many more disabled people want to ride {#blank#}2{#/blank#} than you'd imagine. It's a disadvantage that I don't know how to ride —I'd love to got on long rides with the riders— but I'll learn soon {#blank#}3{#/blank#} . Right now, I'm just happy to be able to lead the horses around for the disabled riders.
I'm{#blank#}4{#/blank#}  helping to organize a sale, which will be {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  next month. It's a lot more work than helping the disabled. I need to collect second-hand things to sell at the sale. There are {#blank#}6{#/blank#}  things available(获得的) than I thought, but I'm sure we'll have enough{#blank#}7{#/blank#}  next month.
I hope the sale raises more money than last month's walk. It was rainy, so too few people took part in the event. Last week, we held an auction(拍卖). The auction took much less {#blank#}8{#/blank#} to organize than the walk. {#blank#}9{#/blank#} , for some reason, people offered too little money for the things, so we didn't raise enough money.
I'm {#blank#}10{#/blank#} you some pictures in the letter, as well as a speech I gave last week.
