A hobby is a special interest or an activity that people like to do in their free time．Most people in Britain have their own{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(hobby)．

   Some people train dogs to race or keep pigeons(鸽子){#blank#}2{#/blank#}(carry)messages．Some people are crazy about plants．They put many  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(kind)of beautiful flowers in their kitchens and living rooms．{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(other)are mad about their cars or motorbikes．They spend their weekends{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(wash)them，painting them and trying 

{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(make)them go faster．Children and teenagers are  {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(interest)in collecting things．They collect stamps，postcards or pictures of a favourite pop star．

   {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(learn)something new is also people's hobby．Some people go to evening classes to learn  {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(dance)，body building，bread making and so on．Some people learn these things by {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(they)．

     Molly {#blank#}1{#/blank#} too many rules. She has to {#blank#}2{#/blank#} up and {#blank#}3{#/blank#} her bed at 6:00 a.m. at home. After breakfast, she can't leave the dirty dishes in the kitchen. After that, she runs to school because there are more {#blank#}4{#/blank#} at school. She can't arrive late{#blank#}5{#/blank#} class. She has to {#blank#}6{#/blank#} school uniforms on school days. She has to be quiet in class. She can't eat {#blank#}7{#/blank#} listen to music in class. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} she can eat in the dining hall and listen to music after class. She can't play basketball after school because she must do her homework. She can play only on weekends. After dinner, she can't {#blank#}9{#/blank#} TV. She has to go to bed at 10:00. She {#blank#}10{#/blank#} it's terrible.

    I like reading in my free time．I've read all kinds of books which are {#blank#}1{#/blank#} by many famous writers from all over the world．But I like a Chinese writer {#blank#}2{#/blank#}．His name is Xu Zhimo．

    Xu was born in a big family．His parents were good at writing．His father taught little Xu by {#blank#}3{#/blank#} ．When Xu was very young，he was {#blank#}4{#/blank#}  in reading．Fables(寓言)and novels were his favorites．He loved reading very much and he often forgot to eat and {#blank#}5{#/blank#}．

    When Xu was about six years old，he began to write some {#blank#}6{#/blank#} ．He kept practicing writing and did better and better．But he still kept on reading， {#blank#}7{#/blank#} he always believed "Reading makes a full man"．

    When he grew up，his dream came {#blank#}8{#/blank#} ．He became a world-famous writer．Not only Chinese but also people {#blank#}9{#/blank#} other countries worshiped(崇拜) him．His works(著作) were enjoyed all over the world．Everyone {#blank#}10{#/blank#} his works were nice and great．

    With more and more cars coming into our families, we are happy that it has greatly improved our life. But {#blank#}1{#/blank#} it has also brought many problems, such as heavy traffic and traffic accidents.

    Traffic safety is everybody's business. We must obey the traffic {#blank#}2{#/blank#} For example, we must walk on walk sides. When we cross zebra-crossing, stop and look {#blank#}3{#/blank#}and left, then go{#blank#}4{#/blank#}he road fast. Don't play football on the road. We can tell our parents not to drink before they drive, not to run through red lights, not to talk and laugh{#blank#}5{#/blank#}we are driving, etc.

    We can say cars are coming into our life, but only when everybody thinks traffic safety is everybody's business can we be safe driving on roads and walking on walk sides.
