When you are learning English, listening, speaking and writing are important, but reading can also be very helpful. Here are some good reading tips.
Try to read at the right level(水平).If you need to stop every three words to use a dictionary, it is not interesting.
Try to increase the number of your new words. If there are four or five new words on a page, write them down in your notebook. But you don't have to write them down while you are reading.Then come back when you have finished reading to look them up in a dictionary and write them down in your own vocabulary book. At last try to remember them.
Try to read regularly(定期地).Fifteen minutes every day is better than two hours every Sunday. Fix(固定) a time to read and keep to it. You could read for fifteen minutes when you go to bed, or when you get up or at lunchtime.
Choose a book or a magazine about a subject that you like, because you are going to spend time and money reading it.You can also read newspapers. There are many English newspapers in China. It is easy enough to understand and also there is something interesting in it.

It usually depends on(取决于) their age. Newborns of o to 3 months should sleep for about 18 hours a day. Babies of 4 to 11 months should start to sleep through the night, for 9 to 12 hours at a time. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}Children of 3 to 5 years should get 11 to 13 hours a day. Children of 6 to 13 need 9 to 11 hours of sleep. Teenagers(青少年) of 14 and up need 8 to 10 hours of sleep.

Pay attention to screen time. Remember to ask children to tum off the television and the computer an hour before they go to bed. If possible, get them out of their bedrooms since the light from the screens can make sleep a difficult job.
Get children moving. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}Running around and playing sports are great, but children can move in other ways too. They can take a dog for a walk or go to the park-just get them out of the house and get them moving.
