One day Mozart saw an old blind street performer(街头卖艺人) p{#blank#}1{#/blank#} the violin at the street corner w{#blank#}2{#/blank#} a hat in front of him. He found out the old man was playing one of his compositions(作品). The old man played for a while, b{#blank#}3{#/blank#} nobody put any money into his hat. Mozart asked the old man, “Do you often play compositions by Mozart?” “Yes, sir,” answered the old man. “Now everyone knows Mozart and they love music.” “Do you make a living by playing the violin?” The old man said he d{#blank#}4{#/blank#}. Mozart took over the violin from the old man and began to play.

So it only {#blank#}3{#/blank#} us 10 minutes to walk there. We saw a movie called “Turbo”. I think it's the most {#blank#}4{#/blank#}movie I know. It tells that a little snail(蜗牛) made his dream come true by {#blank#}5{#/blank#} really hard. After we got out of the cinema, we went to a restaurant to have a meal, the food is really delicious and it has the friendliest{#blank#}6{#/blank#}. In the afternoon, we went to the park. It's {#blank#}7{#/blank#}in the park because a lot of people came here for fun. Luckily, we found {#blank#}8{#/blank#}quiet by the lake to have a rest. It's very{#blank#}9{#/blank#} to sit there, drinking tea, listening to Mp4 and reading our magazines. Then we went boating in the lake.

    On our way home, I asked my daughter, “Did you enjoy {#blank#}10{#/blank#} today, Maggie?” She smiled and said “yes”

    "Olyvia, love is simple. You don't have to do much to make someone happy. "That was what my mother said to me when I was a child. Over a year ago, I had a chance. My good friend Kaylee told me about her t{#blank#}1{#/blank#} to a small town called Gary, and how it was a life-changing experience. I made up my mind to go there myself.

    When I told my parents about the decision, they didn't a{#blank#}2{#/blank#} at first. They said I didn't know much about the place. They were worried that it was not s{#blank#}3{#/blank#} for me to go there. Thankfully, after I explained my plan to them in detail, they said yes.

    When our group arrived in Gary, I noticed how different the town was from where I lived. There were few stores or restaurants in the town; most had closed. So you would be very l{#blank#}4{#/blank#} if you could find a place to buy food or drinks. Houses were built on small hills. Many of them had broken doors or windows. My job was to help the local people to r{#blank#}5{#/blank#} houses.The work days were long and hot, but it was really good to see the houses taking on a new look day by day.

    The children there were also different. They seemed to enjoy every moment in life though they were poor. The smallest things would make these kids happy. I couldn't find words to describe their j{#blank#}6{#/blank#} when they received an ice-cream, a ball or even a kiss. The community was like a big family. Everyone knew each other and was there when someone needed help.

    I am so glad that I had this unforgetable experience. I truly learned the m{#blank#}7{#/blank#} of what my mother said. You don't need to do much to make a difference to others' lives.

    “Sorry” is a word that people in Britain often say in their daily lives.

    One day while I was w{#blank#}1{#/blank#} in the street, a young man ran in a hurry, brushing(轻擦) against my handbag. He continued his way, but turned b{#blank#}2{#/blank#}and said “sorry” to me. Even in a rush, he didn't f{#blank#}3{#/blank#}to say “sorry”. One day, after I bought some bananas, the shopkeeper was passing m{#blank#}4{#/blank#}the change(找回的零钱), but I wasn't ready for it and a coin dropped onto the ground.

    “S{#blank#}5{#/blank#}, madam,” he said while bending(弯腰) to pick it up. I was s{#blank#}6{#/blank#}why he said“sorry” to me. Slowly, I got to know that when something unpleasant happens in daily life, the British don't care much about who is wrong. If someone is in t{#blank#}9{#/blank#}, a “sorry” is always necessary.     With the development of our country, our life has improved greatly. But, unluckily traffic safety (交通安全) is becoming {#blank#}1{#/blank#} serious problem, such as crowded roads {#blank#}2{#/blank#}car accidents. Traffic safety is very important, so we must {#blank#}3{#/blank#}the rules. For example, we must walk on sidewalks(人行道). When we cross zebra—crossing (斑马线), look right and {#blank#}4{#/blank#}, and go across as fast as {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. We should tell our parents not to {#blank#}6{#/blank#} wine (酒) before they drive and not to talk on phone while driving. As a student, we shouldn't {#blank#}7{#/blank#} football on the road or cross the road when the light is{#blank#}8{#/blank#}. Cars are becoming more and more important {#blank#}9{#/blank#} our life. Only when everybody {#blank#}10{#/blank#} about traffic safety, we can drive and walk safely.
