    Knowing that our library is going to buy books, I'd like to give some advices.

    Popular science books is what we need most. Usually popular science books explain basic principles of nature in a simple and interesting way. They helped us understand science better and arouse our curiosity scientific discoveries.

    In addition to read for knowledge, we read for fun and inspiration. That is why I recommend other category of books: literary books. Classic works, written by masters, present great thoughts through fascinated stories and language. They not only offer us a joy and excitement, but also encourage us to think critical.

    I'm glad that I have made great progresses in my English before I became a senior high school student. When I started senior English, I found it much more difficult than which I learned in junior school and I almost lost the heart. Later, I realized the importance of English, but I got up early every morning, recited English words, listening to English tapes and did lots of exercise. I also asked his English teacher and classmates for better ways learn English. Now, my English has improved great. And I'm getting more and more interesting in learning it.

    Everyone should take the action to reduce haze(雾霾)，which is harmless to our health．First of all，I believe that if we plant more tree，there will be less haze in their city．Trees can absorb exhaust fumes(尾气)from cars，thus reduce pollution．Second，the government should punish the factories where produce too many fumes．Exhaust fumes is the main cause of haze and do greatly harm to people's health．Maybe we can move factories to areas where few people live．Third，I think it was a great idea to encourage people to use public transportation．Last but not least，we can call on citizens ride bikes if they travel short journeys.

    Life is a mystery and we will never know that is waiting for us. But one thing is for sure: problems are unavoidable. For us, it's the process of solving problems that help us grow.

    Making a speech in public used to make me frightening. With a strong accent and terrible pronunciation, I failed in speech competition many times, but I didn't lose my heart. I was admitted by the school speech club. I considered it a good chance for me to improve myself. With a help of others, I recorded my speech, listening to it and corrected my pronunciation. Now I am confident enough to give my best speech to you all.

    Don't afraid of problems, but make use of it to be the best of ourselves!

    Last Sunday was funny day for my father. After supper, my father went to see a film. But to our surprise, he returned back just about half an hour later. I asked him what was the matter. He smiled and told us about the funny thing what had happened in the cinema. He was sitting in his seat while a woman came to him and said the seat was her. Surprisingly, they looked at their ticket carefully, only to find the seats shown on their tickets were the same while the colors were different. So they looked at the tickets careful again. After a while, my father apologized to the woman, saying, “Sorry, I make a mistake. Take this seat, please.” The fact was that his ticket finding under the glass on his desk was for the film a month before.
