I am happy stand here to make a speech. The topic of my speech is “My School”. My school is very big. There is 2,000 students. We have a big playground with lots of trees around it. We had fun at school.

This summer I visited Yandangshan. When arriving by bus, I caught a sight of many mountains by looking through the mist, one of what was just like a sleeping baby from an angle. Later it looked like a strong man seeing from another.

What impressed me was the sunrise. Stood on the top of the mountain, I saw the sunshine giving out all directions. The green mountain in our eyes, the clouds in the sky, and the shocking expressions on people's faces formed a beautiful picture. As for me, nature hold me totally with its power.

The sceneries there made a great impression to me. I hope to go there again one day.

The old saying “The early bird catches the worm” show us the importance of planning, working hard and trying constant. To achieve outstanding results, the most people must plan ahead and work hard to overcome all kind of difficulties.
That has been my own experience, either. When I first started at high school, I seldom passed my exams, so I never prepared well. Later, my teacher, Mr Black, advised me plan everything in advance. She asked me to study hard as well. After a year of putting his advice to practice, I can now easily pass all my exams.
There are no direct roads to succeed.

My first trip to the zoo was years before during an elementary school field trip. It is an activity I still remembered to this day. It was for the first time that I had found me so close to animals like tigers and lions. I would say that the trip was worth every minute of time spending. However, some feel that animals should not be kept in cages, and should rather be let out in the wild. They think keeping animal in cages shows the cruel of human beings. As it is known to all, it is interesting to visit another country, but sometimes there are some problem when we don't know the language very well. It may be difficult to talk about the people there. In a strange country we may not know where to eat and what to order in a restaurant. It is not easy to decide how many money to tip waiters or taxi drivers. When we are helpless, we may not know how to ask help. After a short time later, however, we learn what to do and what to say. We learn to enjoy life in another country which we are used to living.

It was a math test, for which I have prepared for a long time. So much importance I attach to it that I even felt a little nervous before a test. My heart began to beat wild immediately I took my seat in the classrooms. Looking at the test paper, our mind went blank. I attempted to focus my attention and it was impossible. So I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, try to calm down. It worked. Gradually I recovered from my calmness. Feeling more relaxing, I picked up my pen and began to write.
