What kinds of buildings will we live in in the future？You might find the answer in the Philippines （菲律宾）.

 As we all know，the rainbow has seven colours.We all like it.The country will build a unique building called the "Rainbow Tree".We can't find such kind of building anywhere else.It is 115 metres high and has 32 stories （层）.This building is made of wood.

 Do you know？

 The building's name comes from a local tree in the Philippines.It is the rainbow eucalyptus （桉树）.The bark （树皮）of the tree has many different colours，yellow，green，orange and purple.

 Take a tour in the building

 Roof （屋顶）：It is full of solar panels （太阳能板）.They can make clean energy.

 Floors 9﹣31：Apartments （房间）and "sky farms" are here.The farm will grow fruits and vegetables.

 Floors 7﹣8：A swimming pool and a gym are here.

 Floors 3﹣6：There is space for electric cars.

 Floor 2：Offices are here.

 Floor 1：There are offices，a lobby （大厅） and a restaurant.

 Basement （地下室）：It is for parking.

 The whole building is covered with 30，000 plants and trees.They will take in carbon dioxide （二氧化碳）from the air and turn it into oxygen （氧气）.

 Inside the building

 It looks crowded from the outside of the building.In fact，it is wide inside.We can live in the building comfortably.

Mr Lin is a famous writer. One day, he goes to Japan by plane. He has a lecture at a university there. But most of the students don't understand Chinese. So he has to have an interpreter（译员），his son, Lin Yafei. He studies in that university.

During his lecture, he tells an interesting and long story. At last, he stops and asks his son to translate（翻译）it into Japanese（日语）. The boy does this in a few seconds（秒），and all the students laugh loudly. Mr Lin is very surprised.

After the lecture, Mr Lin thanks his son for his good work . And he asks, " How do you translate that long story into such a short Japanese one?"

"I don't tell them the story at all," the boy answers with a smile." I just soy, it's a funny story. You will all laugh, please."

Hi! I'm a monster. Look! I have an orange head. I have two red mouths, three blue eyes and six yellow ears. I can smile. I can listen. I have four brown arms and two brown legs. I'm cute. I like oranges and bananas. I eat cake and eggs, too. Look! Ten bananas, eight eggs and seven pieces of cake. Do you like them too? We can share!
