It is Father's Day next Sunday. I want to give my father a gift. I have to think hard. He {#blank#}1{#/blank#} says that he needs something. I want to buy a car for Dad this year. I have seen one in the local shop that I like. It has a picture of a large red racing car. My father really likes cars. But the car is expensive. I do not have {#blank#}2{#/blank#} money, so Mum is going to lend me some. My father is a {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. I hope he will like my picture of a racing car.

Spring Festival is coming. It's usually in February. It's an important(重要的) festival in China. The day before the lunar New year's Day is Chinese New Year's Eve, On that day , all members(所有成员) of the family come together and have a good meal. They wish each other good luck in the new year. 

'm Tim. Everyone in my family is very busy on that important day. My father, mother and uncle are going to clean the house together. My grandpa and aunt are going to help my grandma with the cooking. My sister and I will stay up late and wait for the coming New year. My family are going to take a trip to Xi'an during the Spring Festival holiday, but we can't go there because of coVID-19(新冠感染). So we will stay at home and enjoy the happy time.

Rainy days don't have to get you down, a happiness expert has claimed.

Paul Dolan, Professor of Behavioral Science at the London School of Economics, said that people only feel miserable in bad weather because they think about it too much. Studies have shown that people who live in warm, sunny climates are no happier than those in chilly, wet climates, he said.

 So the British talking about the weather may be making us gloomier(沮丧的) than the weather itself.

 He said, "A study was done that measured the happiness levels of people in California compared to the Northwest."

"They expected that people in California would be happier because it is sunnier, but they found that levels of happiness were exactly the same."

"If it is sunny every day, you get used to it and the sunshine doesn't make you any happier."

"Most of the time the weather doesn't affect our well-being at all. But when we think about it, and think that it does, that's when we get miserable."

 In his new book, Happiness By Design, Dolan argues that we can think ourselves happy by taking our attention away from what makes us sad.

"Most of our anxieties come from what might be," he argues. "If you want to be happier, pay attention to the things that make you feel good."

 He also claimed that a problem shared was not always a problem halved(减半). He claimed that humans are actually very good at being able to get over tragedy and loss.

 Professor Dolan also admitted for the first time that he had a stammer(口吃), which had made his early life miserable. He claimed it only got better when he learned not to pay attention to his speech problem.

"Things are never as bad as you imagine them being," he said.

"What?"cries the old tiger."Show me that tiger."

"Come with me,"says the monkey.

The monkey and the tiger get to a {#blank#}5{#/blank#}over the river.

"Now look down at the river,"says the monkey."Do you see the head,the sharp teeth and the large green eyes of a tiger?"

"Yes,I do,"cries the old tiger."I will eat him up!"

With these words,the tiger {#blank#}6{#/blank#}into the water.He does not come out again.
