My neighbor is a doctor. He and his wife are some of the1people I have ever met. A few years ago, we started this kind of "favor war" where one of us would do something kind for the other, such as2the driveway or building a shed, and next time the other would3to top it with another favor.

    Yesterday morning, it snowed heavily and I remembered he shoveled (铲) my driveway for me. So I took out my shovel and took care of both our driveways and sidewalks because it was my turn to do a favor4. It took a while but I finished it and got into my car for work.

That night I got a5on my door, it was my neighbor. He immediately shook my hands and thanked me for shoveling his driveway and sidewalk, so that he was able to get to work earlier and6a boy.

    "As soon as I started the car early this morning, a call came through that a young boy in our neighborhood was seriously ill.7, my partner and I were only about 2 minutes away, but the closest ambulance 10 minutes," added he. "A young boy got to live his life because you did me the favor."

    It wasn't too much8to shovel a driveway, but what I did got a young boy to see his family again, go back to school again and live his life again.9favor is too small. Even the smallest favor can make the biggest10. One favor will always be followed by another.

Long long ago, {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(dinosaur)ruled(统治)the earth. We now know a lot about the many different types of dinosaurs because scientists have found many dinosaur bones. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}, around 65 {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(million) years ago, all the dinosaurs．{#blank#}4{#/blank#}_(sudden) disappeared. People argue(争论)about what really. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}_(happen)to them. Some {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(science) believe that dinosaurs died out {#blank#}7{#/blank#} there was sudden temperature(气温) change on Earth. But what could have caused this huge change? Many people believe that Earth might have been hit by a really large rock, or even {#blank#}8{#/blank#}very small planet. Scientists have even found a 200-kilometre-wide hole in Mexico. They think it might be the place where the small planet hit Earth.

But some people do not agree with these explanations(解释)．They believe that dinosaurs died as Earth slowly got {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(cold)than before. Until now, people are still not sure {#blank#}10{#/blank#} dinosaurs disappeared.

I'm Jack. In my family, all of us like animals. I like pandas best. Pandas live in China. They are cute and lovely. They like eating bamboo (竹子). They are black and white. My father doesn't like lions, but he likes tigers very much. He thinks tigers are strong and the king of the beasts (兽中之王). My mother keeps some chickens, ducks and pigs in the yard. The chickens and ducks lay eggs (下蛋). They like to walk around in the yard. My grandfather keeps five sheep. They are white. After breakfast, my grandfather takes them out and goes back home in the afternoon. 

Do you like animals? I think you can keep some animals too. 

Today, students learn to do many things at school. But at North Shelby School, the students are doing something1 . They make biscuits (饼干) for dogs.

Who had the2 at first? It was Tenise Bester. She is a3 at the school. When she gave classes, she found some of her students were not active (活跃的) in class. To make them have4 in class, she decided to teach them to make something. She said, "They never tried making something by themselves before, 5 that doesn't matter. They all learn very carefully. I'm so6 to see that."

After knowing that, the school's head teacher Paula Stevens asked all the students to7 them. Now they not only make dog biscuits, but also put them in small bags and sell (卖) them.

When I was 8 years old,I needed to give a speech at the school hall. But as I was walking onto the stage, I fell down all of a s{#blank#}1{#/blank#} . A teacher came to help me and led me to the microphone. I stood there {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(沉默) for a while.
