We'll have a New Year party next {#blank#}1{#/blank#} What can we do at the party? Amy can sing an English song Do Re Mi. Sarah can dance Swan Lake. John can do some Chinese kung fu {#blank#}2{#/blank#} us. I can play the pipa. After that, we'll play some games. At las, we'll {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the song Happy New Year together. There {#blank#}4{#/blank#} lots of delicious drinks and food at the party. We can eat dumplings, noodles, hamburgers, pizzas and{#blank#}5{#/blank#}. We can drink some tea, juice and milk. I can't wait!

Sing "Auld Lang Syne"

In the United States, there is a New Year's song called "Auld Lang Syne". It was a song from Scotland (苏格兰) "Auld Lang Syne" means for old times. People started singing it in Scotland hundreds of years ago. Then it spread around the world. Today people in the USA still sing it on New year's Eve.

Watch Times Square Ball drop

One of the most famous New Year's activities is Times Square Ball Drop. It is held in New York City. There is a huge ball on a flagpole (旗杆). When the midnight comes, the ball reaches to the end of the flagpole. With the beautiful fireworks (烟花), the new year begins and everyone cheers.

Make New Year's resolutions

Another way to celebrate the New Year is making resolutions. A resolution is like a wish or a promise. Most people write about things they need to do or places they want to go next year.

Chinese people always say, "The man who doesn't reach the    Great Wall is not a true man." The Great Wall is the longest(最长的) wall in the world. It starts from Shanhaiguan Pass in the east(东) to Jiayuguan Pass in the west(西). The Great Wall is very famous. Many people come to visit it every year.

We can go to the Badaling Great Wall. I want to go there with Max. He is friendly. He has a black hat and I have a brown hat. We can take my schoolbag. There is a white camera(相机), some bread and some water in it. I can't wait to go there!

Today is Sunday. In the afternoon, Peter wants to fly kites with his friends in the park. He wants to take some chocolates and oranges to the park. Peter makes a shopping list. Now, Peter is in the shop. Peter wants to make some salad with tomatoes and potatoes for dinner. His mother wants to make some soup with fish and eggs.

Little monkey gets three bananas. "One for dad, one for mum and one for me." he thinks.

On his way home, he meets Baby squirrel（松鼠）. "Can I have a banana please?" Baby squirrel asks. Little monkey gives him a banana happily.

Then Little monkey meets Baby duck. "Wow! They are so beautiful! They must be very delicious! Can I have a banana, please?" Little monkey looks at the two bananas in his hand and gives one to Baby duck.

Little monkey gets home, he tells his mother what the matter is. His mum is happy. "You are a good boy, my baby! You do a good thing! You can enjoy the banana now, it is your banana!

After some minutes, someone knocks（敲）at the door. Mother duck gives Little monkey three peaches（桃子）. Mother squirrel gives Little monkey three apples. They thank Little monkey a lot.
