Justin：Good question，Maggie. I always spend about five minutes tidying up the desktop on my computer. I make a backup of important documents. I delete things I don't need any more and put everything into the correct place. 

Jeff：The most important thing is to start studying a few weeks before the exams and not to leave it until the night before! That's common sense，I think. 

Sawyer：Hi，Maggie. My tip is to have a big notice board in your bedroom，divided into different areas. I've got an area for each subject and another one for other work. I use board pens to write reminders and I make sure I look at it every day. The best part is when I clear something off the board!

A beach trip can be fun and relaxing. To have an enjoyable beach trip, you need to make plans for it. Here is some useful information(信息).

Decide which beach to visit. Have a discussion(讨论) with your family. Before you look for information online, sit down and talk with your family to learn about their ideas. Write down their ideas so that you won't forget them. For example, maybe your daughter wants to look for sea shells and your son wants to try some water sports.

____One of the most important things to bring on a family beach trip is a cooler (冰桶) full of ice and things to eat and drink! Because you will spend a few hours on the beach, your family will need some food and drinks. It's better to bring lunch for everyone. Some good beach food and drinks are fresh fruit, sandwiches, juice and so on.

Plan activities for your trip. The best part of a beach trip is that your family can play together! Make sure that you bring things that your family want to use when they are on the beach, such as sand toys, frisbee (飞盘) and cards. If you want to stay by yourself, you can also bring some books to enjoy yourself.

With good preparations, you are sure to have a good time on the beach!

Children everywhere like toy bears. People have been making them for hundreds of years. Children also like stories about bears. The most famous storybook bears are Rupert Bear, Winnie the Pooh ( Poo h Bear) and Paddington Bear. Most children in Britain and the US are also familiar with the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears! Now toy bears are very popular with adults as well as children. And many stores sell all kinds of toy bears.

Many people call toy bears Teddy Bears, but this name has only been used since the early 1900s. The name" Teddy" is short for Theodore, and there was an American president named Theodore Roosevelt. He was very popular and people soon started calling him Teddy Roosevelt. While he was out hunting(打猎) one day, Roosevelt refused to kill a bear. As soon as people heard about this, they started calling their toy bears Teddy.

It's not easy to learn maths well. Students need to remember many formulas(公式) and do lots of maths exercises. Now, more and more students in the United Kingdom learn maths the way Chinese students do.

In 2017, a whole set of Shanghai's primary school maths textbooks, Real Shanghai Maths, went on the UK's book market. There are 36 books, including a Teacher Guide, Textbook and Pupil Pract ice Book for each grade(1-6), according to Xinhua.

The books are translated(被翻译) word- for- word from the Chinese versions(版本). The only change is the price. The Chinese yuan becomes the British pound.

This is not the first time the UK has learnt from China's months instruction(教学). Since 2014, the UK has invited many junior high school and primary school maths teachers in Shanghai to take part in the teaching in its schools. In 2015, the publishing house Collins Learning introduced the practice book One Lesson, One Exercise to Britain. There are 11 books for 11grades, from primary school to high school.

This is because the UK doesn't want its students to fall behind. In the 2012 Programme for International Student Assessment(国际学生评估项目), Shanghai students were No.1 in maths. British students, however, were No.26.

" This will help young people be prepared for further study," said Nick Gibb, minister of Britain's schools.

 For most people, the summer vacation is happy and has a lot of fun. But some may feel anxious(焦虑的) when they don't have a good plan for it. What should we do to make our vacation colorful(丰富多彩的)? Here are some useful tips:

★At the beginning of the vacation, give yourself a day or two to rest and adjust(调整). After this, you should make a plan for the rest of the vacation. You'd better ask your parents for advice if necessary. You can also keep your life in order(井然有序) by writing a daily or weekly to-do list. 

★____ So set some time on your list to take some exercise. For example, you can go out fora walk in the park or go swimming in the pool on a hot day. 

★There may be many activities during the holiday. You can pick some of them if you have interest. But it's also OK to say no sometimes. The summer vacation is your time off, after all. 

★During the weeks of your final exams, you may be too busy to have fun. So, treat(对待) yourself well during the vacation. Read an interesting book, watch your favorite movie, or eat some delicious food. You deserve(应得) the best!
