Is your food and drink healthy? A lot of ice-cream, hamburgers and cola are unhealthy（不健康的）. Meat is healthy but too much meat is not good for children. As for the solution (解决办法) to the problem, according to an environmental group called Hubbub, is to eat packed lunches. Tessa Tricks from the group thinks it's usually healthier and cheaper to make your own lunch.  ▲ 

Of course, if you don't have time to prepare your packed lunch and you are going to buy lunch, Hubbub proposes that you should take your own food container (容器) to a shop and ask them to put your food in it. The idea of using reusable coffee cups for hot drinks and refilling water bottles has already been known successful, so this could be another step in the right direction.

The problem with eating is that you might want to carry your food in something that is disposable, so it's a good idea to make sure it's something recyclable. The message seems to be that if we give our lunchtime eating habits some thought, we will all make an effort in the climate (气候) change and protecting our environment. That is something for all of us to consider and take action!

As AI translation becomes a more popular labor-saving tool, people will divide into two groups, just as the above. There will be those who want to challenge their minds, put themselves in other cultures or force their thinking into new ways. This group will take on language learning, often aided by technology. Others will look at learning a new language with a mix of admiration and confusion, as they might say with extreme sports (极限运动): "Good for you, if that's your thing, but a bit painful for my taste."

However, a focus on the learner alone misses the basically social nature of language. It is a bit like discussing the advantages of close relationship to heart health but turning a blind eye to the inner value of those bonds themselves. When you try to ask directions in broken Japanese or make a joke in simple German, you are making direct communication with someone. And when you speak a language well enough to tell a story with perfect timing or put stress on an argument, that connection is till deeper. 

Now, it is easy to get vegetables from stores or supermarkets. It seems that you don't need to spend months growing them. It takes time to grow your own vegetables. However, there are good reasons to think about growing vegetables yourself.

First, you can get fresher vegetables. The vegetables you grow don't have to travel from far away and wait in stores, so they can be as fresh as possible. You might think that a pepper is a pepper, no mate r where it comes from. However, you can have a more delicious pepper when you grow it yourself.

Second, growing vegetables in the fresh air may be good for your health. Working outside in the sun can also help you get vitamin(维生素) D.

What's more, studies show that growing vegetables is good for mental (精神的) health. While you are working on the vegetables, you may forget your unhappiness and after that you may become much more relaxed.
