Bees are truly fascinating insects that we often see flying around gardens or woods. They move from one flower to another and might even come inside our homes. They make the skies of gardens or forests more beautiful. 

What does a bee look like? A bee has six legs and two sets of wings on each side of its body. Its body is divided into three parts: the head, thorax （胸部）, and abdomen （腹部）. Bees have two feelers on their heads called antennaeand two large eyes on each side. They come in different colors and shapes. 

Then, are all bees the same? No, they come in different colors and shapes, and there are many different kinds of bees. In Ireland, there are 101 different kinds of bees. However, only honey bees make honey that we eat, while other bees don't make honey at all. There is only one kind of honey bee that lives in Ireland. The places that honey bees live in are also different, including hives （蜂箱）, holes and even nests made from leaves. 

What does a bee eat? Bees feed themselves with nectar and pollen （花粉）, which they collect from flowers. Nectar, a sweet liquid （液体）found in flowers, serves as the primary energy source for bees. Honey bees use it to make honey. Meanwhile, yellow pollen sticks to the bees' hairy legs as they gather food. 

Why are bees important? While we enjoy honey as a sweet treat and beeswax （蜂蜡）for candlemaking, bees play a far more important role in our life. Besides, bees are very important to nature because they bring pollen from one plant to another on their hairy legs. Without the hardworking bees, the growth of fruits and crops would be seriously influenced, highlighting their special role in protecting our environment and farming. 

Yesterday afternoon, my little sister Misty and I played soccer in the park. After a few minutes, we saw an old man walking with his eyes looking around. He told people he was lost, but they didn't help him. He was very 1 .

I walked over to him and asked," Where do you live?" He said he didn't know. I asked him his  2 . He said he was Ray. And he said he was lost for almost two hours. I then asked," Would you like 3 to eat?" He said he was a little 4 . And then I walked over to Misty and told her what happened. Then we 5 to help him and bring him some food.

We asked the old man to sit down and have a re st 6 . Then we ran to the shop nearby to buy some 7 for him. After eating some food, the old man felt much better. Misty and I waited with him 8 his family arrived.

 After three hours, his daughter found him and she 9 us. We were 10 that life gave us a chance(机会) to do just the right thing: the loving thing. To give is better than to get.

①Like many other dogs, Scuff loves to play with plastic bottles. David Grant and his wife Yvonne Faulkner- Grant always let their 13- year- old dog pick up the plastic bottles he finds while out on their daily walks. 

②In 2021, David and Yvonne noticed Scuff could find even the most well- hidden bottles. They also noticed there was more and more litter in their town. They couldn't believe that people were littering(乱扔) so much since they were both taught never to drop their trash as children. 

③At the start of 2022, David and Yvonne decided to start picking up the bottles. They also decided to train Scruff to gather other people's trash. 

④" When he picked a bottle up in 2021, he would carry it for a while and then drop it again. People would think we were dropping litter. But it wasn't our litter, " said Yvonne, " so we got him to start bringing the bottles to us and we put them in a bag and then counted them up. "

⑤Since starting this journey, Scruff has become famous in his neighborhood. Everybody loves him. 

⑥     ▲      They hope that more people will heat scruff's story and either stop dropping the trash or, perhaps, try picking it up themselves. What's more, they think Scruff has taken on his duties so well that other dogs could easily be trained to do what he does as well. 

⑦" We walk the same route(路线) every day and he finds bottles on that route every day, " said David. " We feel proud that we are picking them up, but a bit angry that they' re even there, " Yvonne agrees. 

⑧Scruff has collected1, 334 bottles. David andhis wife think Scruff has done a really great job. 

⑨And so do we! Picking up litter while taking a walk is a healthy habit that many of us could add to our lives. 

Li Qiang is a twelve- year- old boy. He had a headache yesterday. His father took him to the nearest hospital to see a doctor. The doctor thought it was not serious and gave him some pills. The following are the instructions of the headache pills.

I have a friend. Its name is Rock and it is my best friend. It comes with me everywhere I go. I can put my best 1 in my pocket or hold it in my hand. If I go out 2 my friend, it will always wait for me at home whenI 3 .

Rock is a great friend 4 it listens well and doesn't talk over me. I can tell Rock mybiggëst secrets(秘密) and it won't 5 anyone. Rock is a friend I can believe.
