Jim's Family Rules

Jim is good student at school. He never breaks (违反) the school rules. All of his teachers like him a lot. But he is not a good boy at home. He doesn't clean his room. He puts his books here and there. He goes to bed very late and reads books in bed. So Jim's mother makes some family rules for him.

Today is Sunday. After lunch, Peter helps his mother to do some housework. They clean the room together. Peter cleans the windows. His mother washes the clothes. Where is his father? Oh, he is making a kite. Look at this kite! It is beautiful! Peter and his mother like the kite very much. 

Ten years ago, Pam1 a baby. She was small and 2 . Her eyes were big. Now she is a pretty girl. She3 long hair. She goes to primary school. She likes painting. She can paint nice pictures. She 4 to the park yesterday. She painted some beautiful flowers. She 5 me the picture this morning.

Mrs. Brown's Old Grandpa

Mrs. Brown's old grandpa was 80 years old. He lives with Mrs. Brown and her husband. Every morning he went for a walk in the park ad came home at twelve for lunch. 

But one morning a police car stopped outside Mrs. Brown's house at twelve o'clock, and two policemen helped her grandpa to get out. One of them said that the poor old man could not find his way home, so they took him home by car. Mrs. Brown thanked the policemen, and they left 

"But, Grandpa" she said to him, "You have been going to the park every day for twenty years. How can't you find the way?"

The old man smiled and said, "I can find the way. I am just tired. I don't want to walk home."

Lily is a naughty（淘气的） girl. She wants to play with her family, but everyone（每个人） is busy.

It' s 5:30 p.m. Mum is in the kitchen. Lily asks, "Can you play with me, Mum?" Mum says, "Sorry, not now. I' m cooking dinner."

It' s 5:40 p.m. Dad is in the living room. Lily asks， "Can you play with me, Dad?" Dad says, "Sorry, I'm reading newspapers（报纸）."

It' s 5:50 p.m. Bob is in the study. Lily asks, "Can you play with me?" Bob says, "Sorry. I' m doing my homework now."

It' s 6:00 p.m. and it's dinner time. Everyone is at the table, but Lily isn' t there. Where is Lily?

"Lily, where are you?" Everybody is looking for Lily. She is so happy. Everyone plays hide-and-seek with her now.
