Can you recognize (辨别) AI-made pictures among real ones? Mark Zuckerberg wears a pink coat and walks in the fashion show. Former US president, Donald Trump, falls over while {#blank#}1{#/blank#} is getting arrested (逮捕). These pictures have {#blank#}2{#/blank#} popular online recently. They have one thing in common—they are fake (假的), but they look real.
AI tools, like Midjourney and DALL-E, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} create such pictures. Simply type in what you want and the picture comes out in a few minutes. People have never been {#blank#}4{#/blank#} worried than today about the fake news.
However, AI tools are not perfect. News medias, including the Washington Post and the Paper gave some {#blank#}5{#/blank#} on recognizing fake pictures.
One way is to look at hands. Human hands are often {#blank#}6{#/blank#} incorrectly by AI. The photos AI uses to learn often show hands in different ways, so it isn't sure what a "hand" {#blank#}7{#/blank#} looks like.
The other way is to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} attention to the details. For example, people in an AI made picture may miss an earring or a part of their glasses. If there {#blank#}9{#/blank#} a text in a picture, the text is usually unreadable. AI is also terrible at dealing with the background. If there's a crowd in the image, {#blank#}10{#/blank#} faces in the corner are usually unclear—or they don't have a face at all!
We all know about Mozart (莫扎特), the famous musician from Austria.{#blank#}1{#/blank#} But he was also very hard- working. The story of Mozart is useful when we think about a serious question. That is which is more important for success, talent or hard. work?
Talent is something that you have naturally (天生的). {#blank#}2{#/blank#} But being talented is not enough for most people to succeed. Do you know the story Shang Zhong Yong? Zho ng Yong is a very talented boy. He wrote a poem(诗) when he was very young. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} His father thought he didn't need to study as hard as other people. After years, Zhong Yong learned nothing and couldn't write great poems. Some people may show talent first, but if they don't work hard, they still can't get success.
Life is like a running race. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} Marie Curie from France had a hard life when she was a kid, but she succeeded in finding radium and polonium(镭和钋). How did she make it? Although she met lots of difficulties that we can't imagine, she never thought of giving up(放弃).
{#blank#}5{#/blank#}
A. Many people felt surprised about what he wrote. B. It can make you become successful more easily. C. All in all, hard work is more important than talent. D. If you stop working hard on the way, you can't win. E. There is no need to work hard if you are a talented person. F. Many people think that his success was the result of his talent. |
