I was raised in New York City where it's very cold every winter. In the sixth grade, a teacher offered {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (bring) some students to a homeless shelter after school. I went with my friends and the teacher for several weeks. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}, I continued to volunteer to help when they stopped going together.     For these notable achievers, it appears that their daydreams came  {#blank#}9{#/blank#}．Dr Harry Emerson Fosdick offered this advice: “Hold a picture of yourself…in your mind's eye, and you will be drawn toward it．Picture yourself {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (vivid) as defeated and that alone will make victory impossible．

    Thanksgiving was drawing near and I was feeling sad about being separated from my family in Indiana.

    Would I have to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving dinner by {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(my)?

That night at Dubya's Restaurant, which was my favorite place to dine, I chatted with Dubya, the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (own) of the restaurant. “It's too bad that this place won't be open {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Thanksgiving, or I could just come here.” I said.
