In China, many people eat dumplings for breakfast, and even for lunch and dinner. Yesterday I decided to make this delicious food for my family. This is my first time to make dumplings, so rolling dumpling wrappers (擀饺子皮)and making stuffing(馅)were difficult for me.
Step 1 Some meat, one cabbage and one carrot were necessary.
Step 2 To go with the stuffing, Mom asked me to cut up the meat and vegetables into small pieces so that I could easily make the stuffing with those pieces by adding salt and pepper.
Step 3 I put the finished stuffing in a bowl.
Step 4 I was going to make the dough. (面团)
Step 5 I cut the large pieces of dough into many small pieces, and the roll them into thin, round ones.
Step 6 I put the stuffing in the center of a dumplingwrapper one by one with a spoon, and then folded(对折)thcm up.
Step 7 Put the dumplings into a pot of water and cooked thein for a few minutes.
In this way, I cooked delicious dumplings.
Although it was difficult for me to make dumplings for the first time, with the help and warm encouragement (鼓励)of my family, I found the fun of cooking and thought it was a fresh and interesting experience.
a. Make the stuffing b. Cook the dumplings in the pot c. Cut up the meat and vegetables
d. Fold a dumpling wrapper up e. Roll dumpling wrappers.

When spring comes, flowers begins to bloom(开花). Signs of new life are everywhere. For students in the US, this means a vacation is on its way. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} So while students from one town are on vacation, their neighbors in the next town might have classes as usual.
Spring vacation is also known as" spring break". During this time, students have one to two weeks off from school.{#blank#}2{#/blank#} Some schools plan the vacation to take place on the same week as Easter(复活节) . Not all schools do this, though. Since Easter is always on a Sunday, students who celebrate the holiday do not need to worry about missing school.
{#blank#}3{#/blank#} Teachers usually don't give homework over the break, so students can spend their days and nights free from school- time stress.
There are lots of ways to spend the time. Some families go on vacation, visit a new state or even a new country. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} Or students may enjoy the break by relaxing at home, reading books and watching movies, or visiting friends' houses.{#blank#}5{#/blank#} On a ten- day trip, for example, students might go on a tour through Spain, France, and Italy.
