Graham Stookey is an 18-year-old high school student. He plays the guitar very well. He is always interested in taking（A）____ lessons, but he didn't start until he was 13 years old. He took lessons of electric guitar and the other part of music for two years. He was kind of shy. He didn't have many friends, and kids made fun of him at school. In 2007,his dad took him to John Mayer's concert. At the concert, John Mayer played the acoustic（原声的）guitar. It sounded much more beautiful than the electric guitar. A day later, he cut the hair and picked up an acoustic guitar.（B）He started writing music and learning how to sing. He loves music very much.（C）因此练习吉他真的不是一件困难的事情。He wrote a song Jonah. It is about his brother. He's hoping to write more good songs.

My name is Luo Xiaowei. I am a teacher in a school in a small town. I came here when I was 22 years old. So far, 20 years has been gone.

People usually ask me what it is like to be a teacher? I think sometimes it can be hard and tiring, because kids are difficult. I have to teach them right from wrong patiently. But most of the time, I feel great to be a teacher. When the students make progress day by day, I am proud of them and myself. Last Monday, when I came back to my office after a lesson, a girl was waiting for me at the door. She is shy and hardly speaks in class. She took something out of her pocket and put it on my hand. Then she ran away. It was a candy with a piece of note saying: "Miss Luo, my mom came back yesterday and taught me to make the candy. You are the first one I want to share with." At that moment, all the tiredness (劳累) had been swept away. And that is why I stick to (坚持) being a teacher.

When I had something difficult to do, I used to ask my mother for help. But she always said, "Do it yourself, dear." I was not glad at all. I thought she was the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} mother in the world!

For example, one day, I decided to invite some friends to my home. My bedroom was not in order. Books were everywhere. And I didn't {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. I asked my mother to help me clean it, but she still said, " Do it yourself, girl."

Because of my "lazy mother" , I have to {#blank#}3{#/blank#} my clothes and clean my room. I have to help my parents cook food and I even have to go to the dentist by myself. It is really hard for me to do everything {#blank#}4{#/blank#}, but I have learned a lot.

As time goes by, I understand my mother. She makes me clever and hard-working!

Mr. and Mrs. Green are two old farmers in the countryside. George is 1 only son and he is 30 years old. He works in 2 big city and visits his parents only on weekends.

Her mom Erin could hardly wait. "People used to ask uncomfortable {#blank#}7{#/blank#}and my daughter has been silent for years. They used to make fun of her {#blank#}8{#/blank#}. "

Now everything has changed and she has never been so {#blank#}9{#/blank#}. 

On the day of her operation（手术）. Maddie was excited and worried. After a nine﹣hour her amazing 3 D ear came out. Her mom cried with tears （眼泪） {#blank#}10{#/blank#}she saw a photo of her daughter's new ear.
