There are lots of people in a park. Some girls are rowing a boat. Amy is eating a banana. Mr Smart is running. Daming is taking pictures. Lingling is riding a bike. Grandma is reading a book. Three boys are playing football. Two boys are playing basketball. They are very happy!

My name is Jack. I am eight years old. My father is a cook. He goes to work at five o'clock in the morning. My mother is a shop assistant. She goes to work at half past nine. She comes home at ten o'clock in the evening. When I get up at seven o'clock, my father is working and my mother is sleeping. I go to school at half past seven. After school, I go to my grandma's home. I eat dinner and do my homework there. Sometimes I watch TV and play with my grandma's dog. I like it very much. I go home at eight o'clock in the evening. I go to bed at nine o'clock.

Our first stop was Paris, the capital city. It's one of the most romantic（浪漫的）cities around the world. We walked along the River Seine（塞纳河）. My walk took me past the Notre—Dame Cathedral（巴黎圣母院）and onto the Eiffel Tower（埃菲尔铁塔）. On our way we stopped many times to. look into art galleries（画廊）along the streets, or just to watch people coming and going. 

Later, we left the capital and found more to see. We visited many beautiful villages. We climbed up part of Mont Blanc（勃朗峰）. It's the highest mountain in Western Europe（欧洲）at 4,807 metres. Then we went to the beaches in the south. We enjoyed the lovely sunshine and sand there. 

During the last days, we enjoyed the nice food in France. It was hard to say no to the lovely pancakes On a hot day, we went to a French restaurant and ordered some mussels（贻贝）. They are cooked in white wine（酒）. They are very delicious. 

Traveling in France is fun. It is a good place to travel. 

Little Duck is {#blank#}1{#/blank#} the sun go down. It is getting lower and lower, but his{#blank#}2{#/blank#} is getting longer and longer.

" Old Tree, the sun gets{#blank#}3{#/blank#}, but my shadow gets {#blank#}4{#/blank#} . Why?" Little Duck asks his friend Old Tree.
