Teresa is a 25-year-old girl who works at a bank. She sometimes  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} （想念） her happy time at school. 

My First Day 

I'll never forget my first day at primary school. I got to school early but I still felt really  {#blank#}2{#/blank#} （紧张的）. Luckily，a girl was kind enough to  {#blank#}3{#/blank#} （邀请） me to sit next to her. We were all together and the head teacher with thick  {#blank#}4{#/blank#} （眼镜） welcomed us. He looked so kind that {#blank#}5{#/blank#} （没有一人） of us felt afraid of him. 

My First Teacher 

I remember her name is Mrs Simpson. Her voice sounded really sweet. Moreover，she was more  {#blank#}6{#/blank#} （幽默的） than any other teacher in our school.  {#blank#}7{#/blank#} （也许） she was my dream teacher at that time. 

Sports Day 

Sports Day was the best day of the year!I used. to take exercise with my friends after school. My {#blank#}8{#/blank#} （业余爱好） is running，so I took an  {#blank#}9{#/blank#} （积极的） part in the running race and I won he third prize!But I haven't won a better prize {#blank#}10{#/blank#} （还、尚）. 

Last month, I went to Australia and had great fun there. My first stop was Sydney. I visited the Sydney Opera House first, then the Bondi Beach. On the beach, I saw many people lying （躺）in the sun. I never saw this in my country. It was very interesting. 

The next morning, I went to Fraser Island. The island is about 122 km long. It has beautiful lakes and beaches. I joined a Fraser Island camp with some friends. We drove a car around the island. We swam and enjoyed a barbecue （烧烤） on the beach together. We had a wonderful time. 

However, there were also many problems, One was that I couldn't speak English well. I wanted to talk with people there and make friends with them. But I didn't know what they said. Because of this, I often lost my way, too. Luckily, people there were so kind to give help. 

From the trip I feel that the world is small. I come to know that I have to study English very hard. 

How do you usually go to school? Most of you may go to school  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} foot or by bike, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Wu Yahan rides a horse to school every day.

Wu Yahan is a student from Inner Mongolia(内蒙古) in China. She is 13 years old. It is about ten {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (kilometer) from her home to school. In her class, some parents drive {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (they) children to school every day. But Yahan's father doesn't do it like them. He {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (ask) his daughter to ride a horse to school because he thinks it is good exercise and that is good for her {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (healthy). Yahan is not good at {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (ride) the horse at first. But with her father's help, she can ride it very well now. The horse runs {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (quick) and it only takes Yahan half {#blank#}9{#/blank#} hour to get to school. Now her classmates think it is cool on the horse and they want {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (go) to school on a horse, too.

Is soccer only for boys? No. Girls can play it, too. And some of them play it well. Anna is a soccer girl. Her birthday is on May 15th. She is 12 years old.

Anna loves soccer. She thinks it's fun. She has 4 soccer balls and she watches soccer games."Do you like to watch TV, Anna?"her sister asks her."No, I don't. It's boring.""How about playing computer games with us, Anna?"her friends ask her."No, thanks. I don't like it."

Girls don't play often with Anna. But for boys, she is a star. They always see her in soccer clothes and go everywhere with a soccer ball. "Anna, do you want to play with us?"the boys ask her."Yes. Let's go!"

Anna wants to be a great soccer player. I think she can. Do you think so?

I'm John. I'm in No. 1 Junior High School now. We are very busy this term {#blank#}1{#/blank#} we have many things to do. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} 21st September, we have an art festival. It's very interesting. I like October best because we have two {#blank#}3{#/blank#} ball games. One is the football game on 10th October and the other is the volleyball game on 18th October. They are {#blank#}4{#/blank#} fun. And many students love November because we have a school trip on 8th November. That's relaxing! I love my school. What about {#blank#}5{#/blank#} school? Do you enjoy your new school life?
