The World (世界) Health Day is on April 7th. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}But some boys and girls don't know how to be healthy. They watch TV or play computer games much in their rooms. Then they get fat.

{#blank#}2{#/blank#}Please have breakfast, lunch and dinner at the right time when (当…时) we are busy. "An apple a day keeps the doctors (医生) away (远离). "{#blank#}3{#/blank#}An d we need them to be in good health. Have a cup of milk in the morning. Then after the six or eight busy classes. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}Sports help us be healthy after weeks or months. Also, it´s not fun for one person (人) to play basketball or soccer. So we can play with our classmates, families and friends.

① Animal behavior is an interesting and attractive study. Scientists research the ways animals use to look for food. They study how animals protect themselves from their predators, and which animals kill other animals for food. All of this helps us understand how useful animals can be.

② Each country or culture raises some animals for food. In the United States, people mainly eat meat from cows, chickens and pigs. In some other countries, people might raise sheep or buffalo for meat. These differences come in part from weather and other environmental conditions (状况). People around the world eat all kinds of fish and shellfish from oceans and rivers. In some countries, people don't always choose some animal groups, such as dogs, for food while in other countries such animals may become people's favorite food.

③ In West Africa, animals provide humans with more than food. They have been helping people do daily work for thousands of years. Horses, oxen, and other work animals pull heavy things. Elephants, camels and other animals carry people and things from place to place. Carrier pigeons (信鸽) have been used to send messages.

④ People also receive health benefits (利益) from animals. For example, dogs and cats can help calm people down. This is helpful for people fighting illnesses. Animals can also reduce stress, helping people to draw their attention to learning new information, such as reading. When people are walking their dogs or horses, it encourages exercise.

⑤ Animals and humans share space on Earth, so keeping a healthy relationship with animals around us is in our best interest.

Hi, boys and girls! My name is Eric Brown. I'm 12 years old. I go to No. 10 Middle School. I like English and my English teacher's name is Tom Green. He is 28 years old. He likes dogs and he has a dog. His dog's name is Max. Max is 8 years old. It is a black dog and it is big.

 Every day, Max comes to our school with Mr Green. And Max likes it. Max doesn't go to our classroom(教室). When we are in class, Max is in Mr Green's office(办公室). Max knows that it's time for us to study. After class, all of us go to Mr Green's office and meet Max. We say"Hello" to it and play with it. We are happy to be with it. Max brings joy to our school. We love it.
