Jim Green is an announcer for the program. His program is {#blank#}1{#/blank#} among girls and boys, and most of the teenagers like him. He plays a new record of the pop songs and modem music for his listeners. At eight it's time for the news, Jim finishes his work at ten thirty. He goes home in his car. A: Hi, Julie. How was your weekend?

A: Why do you say so?

B: I took the train to Beijing for a birthday party with my parents. We {#blank#}2{#/blank#} our trip on Friday night and got home on Sunday evening. But in such (如此的) a(n) {#blank#}3{#/blank#} time, I really had a great time visiting many places of interest.

A: So what did you do in Beijing?

B: We {#blank#}4{#/blank#} took a taxi to the hotel quickly after getting off the train on Saturday morning. Then, we went to the party. After the party, we went to Tian'anmen Square. In the evening, I went to Wangfujing Street and I bought a small {#blank#}5{#/blank#} for my little sister.

A: How was the food there?

B: Its {#blank#}6{#/blank#} was really great, like Beijing Roast Duck.

A: What did you do on Sunday?

B: I visited Beijing Wildlife Zoo. I saw many {#blank#}7{#/blank#} like koalas and tigers. After that, I went to Peking University. In the evening, we took the train to go home.

A: Sounds like you really had a great time there. But why didn't you go there by plane? You could have {#blank#}8{#/blank#} time to have fun there.

B: I don't like taking the plane. I have to get there {#blank#}9{#/blank#} and wait for hours for the plane and it is often late. Taking the train is kind of {#blank#}10{#/blank#}. We spend much time on it. But it's always cheap. And I can see the beautiful sights (风景) outside along the way.
