Animals United is a 3-D German cartoon by Reinhard Klooss and Holger Tappe. It is  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}story about animals that get together to find water. Along  {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (they) journey, lots of funny things happen, and of course, they have a lot of adventures.

The animals in the grasslands in Africa are waiting  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}the coming flood(洪水).However, this year's flood seems to come later than in other. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(year). The animals become upset and worried.

At the same time, some animals from other places come to the grasslands  {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (look)for peace. However, the situation seems  {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (bad) because the water is becoming less and less.  {#blank#}7{#/blank#} they decide to look for the river.

 {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (final), they find the reason why they don't have enough water to drink. Humans(人)  {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (set) up a dam(水坝) already so that they can have a better life. After  {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(fight) with humans for a long time, they let the world know that animals are in danger.

I like the cartoon story. It tells that humans should know animals have their own world.

To make more students know about Chinese culture, our school English club took part in Huazhao Festival in Qingxi Park on April 14th, 2024.

One day, Mrs. Green asked her class, "Does anyone think that they have changed since last year?" Danny put up his hand. 

"I was very lazy when I was in the fourth grade, " he said. "I 1 did my homework. I didn't bother (花费时间精力) going to the 2 because I didn't like to read books. But a park cleaner changed me. One morning, I was playing football in the park. The ball rolled (滚动) away and I ran to3 it up. I saw a cleaner sweeping up the leaves nearby. When he saw me, he stopped and said, 'Young man, doesn't the park look much cleaner now? I always work hard to make sure the park is clean. I don't waste my life and don't waste4 either. ' I thought about the man's words on my way home. I said to myself, 'I' m going to work hard to get good results at school. I won't be5 anymore. '"

Recently I had a trip to Sydney with my parents. We visited the Wildlife Park.

The Wildlife Park has lots of different animals. Some are native( 当地的 ) to Australia and can only be found there. There are more than 500 animals there, including kangaroos, koalas and crocodiles( 鳄鱼 ). They are kept in their natural environment. I like the Wildlife Park better than a zoo. In zoos, most of the animals are in cages( 笼子).

We first spent some time with the kangaroos. We could touch and feed them. It was very exciting to be so close to them. There were koalas there, too. They looked very cuddly(令人想拥抱的 ). Although we couldn't carry koalas, I could take a photo with one. It is a wonderful souvenir( 纪念品) of my holiday in Sydney.

The Wildlife Park has plenty of freshwater and saltwater crocodiles. Some of them are. very big and scary with huge teeth!I did not want to get too close to them.

There was also a bird show. The keepers showed us different species of birds. I saw an old parrot. It could " talk" and made a great impression on me.

I enjoyed the trip very much. There was so much to see.

This summer, when I walked into my grandparents ' house with my little brother Frank, I tried not to look at Grandpa's chair anyway. It still  looked the same. His blue 1 was  there, as if ( 好 像 ) Grandpa was going to pull it over his legs. My cousin Jack was playing in the yard as if 2 had happened. "Let's go to catch fish!" Jack 3 the fish net from the corner, Grandpa's net.

Last summer, I was holding the net when Grandpa asked me 4 I could help him teach Frank how to play chess. I said no because I wanted to catch fish. Grandpa had been the one who'd taught us how to catch fish, but then the 5 made him stay behind.

I regretted saying no to Grandpa, and now I wouldn't have 6 to play chess with him.

When we reached the stream, we began to catch fish. Suddenly, Jack shouted, "Frank is shaking." We hadn't brought anything to keep 7 so I had to send him home.

Grandma was worried to see a wet Frank and 8 put Grandpa's blue blanket around him. As I went to the stream again to meet Jack, I looked back at Frank with that old blanket. Something seemed to 9 me at that moment. Everything was just like before, but Grandpa was gone.

I walked to Frank. "Did Grandpa teach you to play chess last summer?" I asked. "No, Grandpa was too sick then." he said, "I miss him."

"Me, too." When I said it, I knew Grandpa was never gone. What 10 us was still there. It could be the fish net. It could be the chess. It could be the blue blanket.

A hobby can help us a lot. A 58-year-old building worker was in the 2024 CCTV Spring Festival Gala (春晚) because of his 1 . 

Yi Qunlin has worked in Shenzhen for about 20 years. In the summer of 2023, he 2 became an Internet star after his son put a video of him playing the piano online. His music 3 so great that a lot of people liked it. 

At first, Yi 4 that nobody would like his music. But the fact was 5 . Actually, he got a lot of likes from the people online. He was 6 after seeing this.

On 21st January, 2024, Yi played 13 at the hall of the CCTV building. 

"Almost 14 can get a lot from their hobbies, " Yi said. "I was building yesterday, and today I'm appearing on the 15 of CCTV. This is a really amazing feeling. "
