An English traveller found himself in Norway with only enough money to buy the ticket for his journey back home. As he knew that it would take him only two days to get to England, he decided that he could easily spend the time without food. So he bought a ticket and got on the ship. The man closed his ears to the sound of the lunch bell. When dinner time came, he didn't go to the dining room, saying that he was not feeling very well.

    The next morning, he still didn't have breakfast and at lunch time he again stayed in his room. But at dinner time he was so hungry that he went to the dining room and ate everything the waiter put in front of him. He got ready for the quarrel(争吵).

     “Bring me the bill,” he said. “The bill, sir?” said the waiter in surprise. “There isn't any bill. On our ship meals are included(包括)in the money for the ticket,'' said the waiter.

Miss Dinsmore lived in a little house. She bought it two years {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. She wished it looked happier, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} she decided to paint it a bright(鲜艳的) color.

Miss Dinmore went to a paint store. She saw many {#blank#}3{#/blank#} there—yellow, red, blue, green... It was hard to choose.

"I know what to do,"said Miss Dinmore at last. "I'll draw pictures of my house {#blank#}4{#/blank#} all of these colors. Then I'll choose the best one."

 Then Miss Dinmore started to draw a lot of {#blank#}5{#/blank#} of her own house. "All of the pictures of my house are beautiful," said Miss Dinmore. "But I still can't decide which color will {#blank#}6{#/blank#} my house happier."

One day, a neighbor saw Miss Dinmore's pictures. She liked {#blank#}7{#/blank#} very much. "I'll tell others,"she said. "Everyone will want to see your pictures.

It was true. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} the neighbor told others about it, and a number of people came to see the pictures. "What a nice little house you have,"everyone said.

"It is a nice little house,"said Miss Dinsmore quietly. "But I wish it looks..."

She stopped and looked around. Her little house was {#blank#}9{#/blank#} of people looking at pictures, drinking tea, talking and laughing. They all {#blank#}10{#/blank#}a good time. "It's a nice little house," she said again. "And it's a happy little house, too—when good friends come to visit me."

Last summer, football player Carson Pickett made history. She became 1 first person without an arm to play for the US Women's National Team (UWNT).

28-year-old Pickett was born without left arm. 2 that didn't stop her from doing anything. 3 great girl she is! She does almost everything with just one hand, such as eating and swimming.

Pickett 4 play football very well. Born in a sports family, she started playing football at the age of five and 5 great interests in the sport. The body difference may change the way she plays football. However, it can't stop 6 love for it. With hard work, she finally became a member of UWNT.

Hi, boys and girls! My name is Eric Brown. I'm 12 years old. I go to No. 10 Middle School. I like English and my English teacher's name is Tom Green. He is 28 years old. He likes dogs and he has a dog. His dog's name is Max. Max is 8 years old. It is a black dog and it is big.

 Every day, Max comes to our school with Mr Green. And Max likes it. Max doesn't go to our classroom(教室). When we are in class, Max is in Mr Green's office(办公室). Max knows that it's time for us to study. After class, all of us go to Mr Green's office and meet Max. We say"Hello" to it and play with it. We are happy to be with it. Max brings joy to our school. We love it.

In the last video, some people are swimming in a {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(游泳池). Suddenly, a watch falls into the water. When someone {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(捡起) it up, it still works. It's amazing!

Then Mrs Jackson told us something about advertisements. Her voice was beautiful and all of us listened to her very {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(仔细地). Then she played a game with us. We really enjoyed the class. 

After class, most students {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(赞同) that Mrs Jackson was a friendly English teacher. And she was among the best teachers of {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(我们的). We all hope to take her classes again.
