It seems that paleontology（古生物学） has nothing to do with fun. However，some online videos about it have become popular with young people. These videos are made by Fun Stuff，a science account（账户） on Bilibili. It has posted about 150 videos and most of them are for free. And these videos have been watched over 100 million times. 

The makers behind Fun Stuff are Tang Cheng and Cai Chunlin. They're a couple（夫妇） at the same university. Both of them studied science very hard and always discussed questions about science together. 

It all started on a small island in 2014，when Tang studied monkeys there. At the time，he started giving online classes to children. After one class，a student asked him what a cell（细胞） is. Then he decided to make more people fall in love with science. 

In 2018，Tang and Cai began to play some English science videos and share them on Bilibili. The next year，they began to make their own videos. They spent two months on their first video. It is about an amazing animal living in ancient times. In the video，Tang talks about the animal's look and habits and why it died out. The special and clear way to tell scientific facts soon made the video very popular. Since then，the couple has made lots of videos about ancient animals. 

"Fun Stuff has the interesting way to make science about the ancient world very interesting，" says a fan. 

A man made his living by collecting coconuts in the countryside.One day，he went to a small village that he had never been before.

Towards the end of the day，his wagon was filled with coconuts.He decided to head home，because it was getting late.He wished to know how long it would take to get back to his village.

He saw an old man along the roadside and stopped to ask for directions.

"Excuse me，" he said， "Could you please tell me how long will it take to get to Carson from this village？When will I get to my home？"

The old man showed him the right direction and said， "If you go slowly，it will take only a short while for you to get home.But if you go quickly

The man could not understand the answer.He didn't believe the old man's suggestion was friendly.He gave the man an angry look and hit his horse to make it hurry.The horse began to run quickly.But soon，coconuts began to fall from the wagon.Each time，the man got off to collect the fallen coconuts and put them back into his wagon.

The faster he went，the more coconuts fell from his wagon，and the more time he had to take to pick them up.So he went home very late at last.However，△ ，and the man would have arrived home much earlier.

And so，as the old man said ，go slowly and it will take only a short while.

Liang Chunlan，56，is a member of the Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association.She began learning how to make paper﹣cuts when she was a little girl."Influenced by both my mother and grandmother，"says Liang Chunlan.

Liang Chunlan has been making paper﹣cuts for more than 30 years.She has already won many prizes for her paper﹣cuts.By drawing ideas from life and Shanxi's traditional culture，she has created a special artistic style.

In recent years，she has put a lot of effort（hard work） into spreading this art.She likes teaching others to make paper﹣cuts.Sometimes，she folds napkins（餐巾） and cuts paper to show her friends how to make paper﹣cuts.

"What I did was not enough."said Liang Chunlan.To encourage young people to learn the craft﹣making skills，she has provided training courses for school students to teach them how to make paper﹣cuts.She has also spoken to university students in Australia and other countries to introduce this traditional art.

Liang has written several books to help Chinese understand the beauty of the paper﹣cuts.Some art schools have used her works as teaching materials.She will continue to try to do something meaningful to spread our country's traditional art.

Some people like to collect stamps. Others prefer posters or coins. But Pinky Bhutia is different. She collects children. In her mountain village, in Sikkim, she is known as the wonderful young woman who adopts (领养) all the children she can. 

Pinky was 14 when she adopted her first child, a Nepali baby girl, whose patents died. Pinky's parents did not mind. Pinky left school and started working full time because she had a baby to feed. Today, she has twelve adopted children, and two sons from her marriage. 

Pinky is about 30 years old and she comes from a common family. If you passed her on the street, you wouldn't give her a second look. She lives in a brown mud-washed（泥刷的） house. There is a vegetable garden outside. Red hens with noisy chicks run all over the garden looking for food.

If you ask her why she provides a home to so many kids, she smiles shyly. But her eyes are serious. "I know what it is to be poor and hungry. "As a child, her only dream was to eat a full meal, and her favorite amusement was watching people with shoes and imagining what it felt like. By adopting poor and homeless children she is making sure that they never feel that hopeless. 

Pinky feels very proud when she sees her children happy and bright, Her oldest baby, Aarita Rai, is now 20 years old. Then, there is 19-year-old Nimbe who came to Pinky because her mother was unable to look after her. She started to work in a government office two years ago. 10-year-old Bhim and 14-year-old Kumar came to Pinky five years ago, after their father died. They started living on a patch of land given by Pinky and grew vegetables for sale.

"I like children. It's not one more mouth to feed but one more soul saved, "Pinky says. 

Take a look outside, and you can find plants almost everywhere—high on the top of mountains, in the sea, in dark or sunny places. Plants have been on Earth for hundreds of millions of years and there are over 300, 000 kinds of plants. 

Plants go through a process (过程) of photosynthesis. In the sunlight, they produce sugar and O₂. Plants do it for a long time, so there is always sugar and O₂ being made. 

Plants have an important role in the world. They produce most of the world's O₂, and they are important in the food chain. Almost all living things depend on (依赖) plants to live. Animals depend on plants to get nutrients (养分) as well as O₂. Environmental factors (因素) like light, temperature and water can influence plants' growth. It's important to understand how these factors influence plants.
