In Chengdu, we have as many teahouses as {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(leaf) in a cup of tea! Grandpa used to {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(take) me to the teahouse. He and his friends drank tea and {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(share) their news. Now I study abroad. Most of my classmates {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(prefer) coffee, butI will always choose green tea. It's more than a drink for me. A cup of warm tea always {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(make) me feel like I'm back home. 

It's no secret {#blank#}9{#/blank#} Brits love afternoon tea. But actually, we drink tea all day. My husband can {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(drink) eight cups a day! When my kids {#blank#}11{#/blank#}(be) young, I always made tea for them after school. Now they're {#blank#}12{#/blank#}(adult), but they come back every weekend. We chat and relax in the yard {#blank#}13{#/blank#} black tea and biscuits. It's our way of {#blank#}14{#/blank#}(connect).

 Compare this with Starbucks. Their chairs are uncomfortable and people forget your face. Starbucks doesn't have books, games or musicians. Instead, they sell CDs. It's the McDonald's of coffee.

 Are there good cafes in China? Yes! Great ones! I' ve visited many. If you like coffee, you should find one. If you don't like coffee, go anyway. They serve tea too. A cafe can only support a community if the community supports the cafe.

It was the start of Daylight Savings Time, the night when we all move our 1 forward an hour. I didn't want to wake up too early and I didn't want to sleep too 2 . This, of course, only caused me to overthink things and wake up in the middle of the night.

 Now her snoring was gone and it was so quiet. My new dog, Sweetie, slept silently curled up(蜷缩) in her corner. I sighed(叹气) and 9 all the joy Snoopy had given me over the years. She never judged me, she never argued with me, and each day she gave me the gifts of laughter and unconditional(无条件的) 10 .
