Trains are great for getting around cities and traveling long distances (距离). Here are some of the world's fastest trains.
Shanghai Maglev Train(磁悬 浮列车), China | Shanghai Maglev Train reaches a top speed of 431 kilometers each hour. It means the 30-kilometer train line from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Longyang Road Station takes about eight minutes. It is also said that Shanghai Maglev Train has reached 500 kilometers each hour during tests. |

JR East E5, Japan | JR East E5 trains travel between Tokyo and Hakodate. Although they've traveled at up to 400 kilometers each hour during tests, these trains usually move at up to 320 kilometers each hour for normal travel. |
There are many eating habits in the world. What are the eating habits in your country? In many countries, people usually have three main meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. They have breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
In England, people have breakfast from seven to nine in the morning. They have porridge, eggs or bread. English people also drink tea or coffee for breakfast. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}.
One different meal in England is afternoon tea. It is from four to five o' clock in the afternoon. Dinner is at about half past seven. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. Then they have meat or fish with vegetables. After that, they eat some other things like bananas, apples or oranges. But not all the English people eat like that. Some of them have their dinner in the middle of the day— at about twelve o' clock. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. They think dinner is very important. They call the last meal of the day" supper".
All in all, English and Chinese people have different eating habits. Different people may eat in different ways, but their meals are still an important part of their life.

Clubs Making a Difference for the Earth
Joining a club to help protect the environment can be both fun and impactful. Here's an interview with two students, Alex and Mia, who have started clubs at their schools to help the planet.
What is the goal of your club?
Alex:My Club, the "Clean Air Group", focuses on reducing air pollution. We encourage students to ride bikes and use public transport to cut down air pollution.
Mia: {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Our goal is to create community gardens in different parts of our school and neighbourhood to provide fresh vegetables, which are good for both people and wildlife.
How did you come up with the idea for your club?
Alex:{#blank#}2{#/blank#} And I realized how much pollution they were producing. I wanted to do something to help reduce it, and that's when I thought of cleaner ways of getting to school.
Mia: I've always enjoyed gardening with my family, and when I learned about how important plants are for the environment, I thought, "Why not start a club that lets others experience that too?"

Alex: We organize "No Car Days"where students leave their cars at home and walk,bike, or take the bus. We also invite guest speakers to talk about air pollution and its impact on our planet.
Mia:We plant and take good care of school gardens. We give away some of the produces from our gardens to local food banks.
What impact has your club had so far?
Alex: A lot of students now use bikes or carpool more often. It's great to see people being more mindful of how they travel.
Mia: Our gardens are growing all the time. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} It's brought people together and made the school a greener, more welcoming place.
