The greatest source of inspiration for me has always been my father. Though he's been gone for 17 years, his 1 still resonate (产生共鸣). He taught me how to run my own race in life. But the most inspiring thing he taught me was to 2.

One incident is 3 in my mind. It happened when I was a teenager. My sister and I weren't very fond of a so-called friend of 4. Dad was a very generous man, and as he'd done with so many people, he'd given this fellow great help. But when he asked for a favor 5, the guy didn't deliver.

The woman comes andsays to Kitty, "You catch the {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (错误的) man. This man wears a purple T-shirt. The man with my bag wears a {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (黑色的) T-shirt. "

A model of the Legoland Shanghai Resort(上海乐高乐园度假区模型) made its first appearance in November 2022. 40 designers and model builders spent  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (一半) a year working on it.

The resort covers an area of more than 318,000 square meters in Jinshan District which is very  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(方便) for visitors to go to. It will be made up of a theme (主题) park and a theme hotel. In the theme park, visitors will find most of the popular rides(游乐设施) of Legoland parks around the world.

The park will  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(包括) 8 areas. One of them is Monkie Kid, which became a new logo theme in 2020. It's based on the Monkey King. It was designed in 2019 to  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(连接) Chinese children with the traditional culture. Also, it will be  {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (流行) with the children from other countries.

The construction of Legoland Shanghai Resort began in November 2021. {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (所有事物) is now going well with the project. What's more, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (在……旁边) it is a big shopping  {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (商场). And there are also some other buildings  {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(在附近). The resort will be open to the  {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (民众) in 2025. There will be a lot of fun for many families with kids, so it is expected to become a new tourist attraction (旅游景点).

I was a stay-at-home dad, which gave me plenty of time to cook. Ever since I was a kid, cooking had been one of my 1 . My dad had given me some great advice. "If you're gonna cook," he began, "you might as well make sure it's tasty." So with that2 , I'd set about making each dish as 3 . as I could. I figured that if something looked and4 good then, chances were, it would taste great too. 

One day, I was on the Internet when I noticed my best friend, Dave had 5 a video of him cooking. He was 6 with The Fathering Project, a non-profit organization that helped men be the best dads they could. "We're always looking for content," he said, "Can you7 your videos with us?" I was more than happy to 8 other fathers to get into the kitchen. So I started to 9 videos of my cooking. I also gave viewers plenty of 10 . "The kitchen can be a place to 11 with others," I told them. My son and daughter helped me with washing and cutting, but most importantly, we all shared a 12 with each other, My videos grew so 13 that dads around the country were setting out for my suggestions. It's been an enormous 14 to transform my enthusiasm into something that's helping others. I hope my videos will keep giving dads a taste of the 15 cooking brings to our lives.

On the fourth day I found a campfire. It was still smoking. Somebody else was living on my island! Who was it? I felt scared so I took my gun and climbed a tree. I watched for a long time but I didn't see anyone. I went back to my tent and tried to sleep. I didn't feel safe any more. The next day I went exploring. I kept my gun with me all the time. After a while I saw a fire through the trees. I went up to it very slowly and very quietly. A man was lying on the ground near the fire. He was asleep but there was a blanket over his head so I couldn't see his face. I hid behind a bush and waited. I had to wait for a long time and it was starting to get dark when the man finally woke up. He stood up and took off the blanket. It was Jim, Miss Watson's slave! I jumped out and ran up to him. 

"Jim! "I said. "It's me, Huck! "

"Huck! Is it really you? "Jim said, with a big smile. 

"Yes, Jim, and I'm really happy to see you. But what are you doing here? "

"Well, alright then. The other day a businessman from New Orleans came to the house. I knew that Miss Watson wanted to sell me. I was scared. Then I ran away and hid on the island. "

We sat there chatting for a long time. I liked talking to Jim because he knew a lot of things. He understood signs. He knew which ones meant good luck and which ones meant bad luck. He knew which signs meant bad weather, too. When he saw some birds flying low in the sky he said, "It's going to rain later, Huck. We must find a dry place to make a camp. "

The next day we climbed to the top of a big hill in the middle of the island and found a cave in the rock.

"This is a good place, ""Jim said. "Let's make our camp here! "

Cui Chenxi, a 14-year-old girl, finished the women's skateboarding street final (滑板女子街式决赛) in fourth place at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics on July 28th. It achieves China's best result in the sport since it was 1 to the Games three years ago in Tokyo. 

Cui2 Jinan, Shandong Province. She has always been interested in sports. She tried her hand at 3 sports: football, basketball, and table tennis. But4 it was skateboarding that won her heart. 

Cui only began skateboarding in 2020. Her father 5 her to try skateboarding. Then she fell in love with it. Within a year, she began winning6 at professional-level(专业级的) events. In 2022, she got third place in the women's street event at the Shandong provincial (省级的) games. She soon joined the provincial skateboarding7 . In 2023, she made history by becoming China's 8 -- ever Asian Games medalist after winning gold in the street skateboarding event in Hangzhou. 

But it is not easy to make so much9 in such a short time. Cui has always been working hard and learning from other skateboarders. "When I started skateboarding, I thought it was great fun. Later, I 10 that most of the time, getting hurt is just part of the process. But that is where the spirit of skateboarding lies. " she added.
