If you look at the top of your phone，you'll usually see a little symbol that says 3G or 4G. The "G" stands for the "generation（代）" of your mobile network. But the symbols will become things of the past after 5G networks fully arrive. Shanghai became the first city in China to start testing 5G networks. 

About 100 times faster than 4G networks，5G lets people download and upload data（数据） faster than ever before. But 5G doesn't just bring faster mobile internet. People can use it for many other things as well. For example，5G helps to make self－driving cars safer. 

5G could also be used to power the Internet of Things（IoT，物联网），that is，a large online network that connects all things and people. Fast internet speeds are the key to developing this technology. 

The IoT could be used in a lot of ways. For example，with IoT，your fridge could automatically（自动地） place an order online for eggs when it finds that there are no eggs left inside. 

There is a great shop in Linda Tutt High School in the USA. It's not the same(相同的) as other shops. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} That sounds very interesting,right?

Also, the students can help in the shop in their free time. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} They can learn some job skills(工作技能)there. 

The shop sells things to the students three days a week, from Monday to Wednesday. Every Tuesday,the shop is open to other people for one hour. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}

Because of the shop,many people in need get help. The students in this school learn a lot,too. What a great shop!

Monarch butterflies(帝王蝶) are flying through Missouri(密苏里州) on their way to Mexico. Many American people love to see these bright- colored black- and- orange butterflies, but they need our help to stay safe and healthy.

Every year, monarch butterflies travel south to Mexico in the fall and fly back next spring. As the monarchs go south, people in Missouri might start seeing more of these beautiful things. They' ve already been found in places like Kansas City, and even in smaller towns like St. Joseph.

Sadly, the number of monarchs has dropped by 80% in the past twenty years. Monarch caterpillars(毛毛虫) need to eat milkweed (乳草) to grow. Much of the milkweed in the country is gone because of the overuse of herbicides(除草剂) in farming. Without these plants, monarchs have no place to live or find food.

Monarchs plays an important role because, like bees, they can carry pollen(花粉), which help plants make seeds and fruit. Here are some things you can do to help these amazing butterflies:

Plant Milkweed:This is the only plant where monarchs lay their eggs. By planting milkweed in your garden, you can give these butterflies a place to stop and rest during their trip. You can also plant other flowers to provide food for the adult butterflies.

Take Photos: If you you see a monarch, take a photo and up load it to the Western Monarch Milkweed Mapper. You can help follow the movements of monarchs and understand where they are during the year, which is valuable information for researchers.

Help Fight Global Warming:Changes in the weather are making life harder for monarchs. Bad weather hurts milkweed and when the temperature is too high or too low, it's difficult for monarchs to grow up. By doing things to help the environment, like recycling and saving energy, you can help slow down global warming and protect the monarchs.

 Last Nauonal Day, my family {#blank#}3{#/blank#} to drive there. It took us about forty {#blank#}4{#/blank#} to get there. The lakes and trees gave us a big surprise. The air was so clean that we all felt comfortable. It is {#blank#}5{#/blank#} a great place for holiday.

The undersea world is very beautiful. Now more and more people want to dive(潜水) in the water to find the secret there. Scuba diving is a new sport today. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

You will find many strange animals in the sea. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}Some give out light in the dark and some have sharp teeth. 

During the day, there is enough light. Here, under the sea, everything is blue and green. When fishes swim nearby, you can catch them with your hands. When you have bottles of air on your back, you can stay in deep water for a long time. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} And you must be very careful when you dive in deep water. 

The deep sea is not an easy place to live in. It's cold. And it's dark too. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} At about 3, 000 feet, there is no light at all. It is very dark in the sea. Many fishes have no eyes. Some have big eyes. A few have eyes on one side. Beside the cold and the darkness, deep-sea animals face a third danger—other animals. Animals eat! They must find food to eat. Many animals eat plants. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} This means these sea animals have two big jobs. They need to find animals as food, and they have to try not to become other animals' meal.
