I live in Taipa, a community (社区) in Macau (澳门). My house in Taipa is very good. There are two large stores, a bank and a post office in the community. And there are a lot of great restaurants. The Sichuan restaurant is my favourite. I can get a bowl (碗) of noodles with chicken for about ten yuan in that restaurant. There is a park with a small river, gardens and trees near my house. It's very beautiful. I go running in the park every morning.

I wasn't in Macau in 2012. I was in Hong Kong at that time. My apartment (公寓) in Hong Kong was quite small. The apartment was on a busy street. There were many cars on the street. And there was no supermarket near my home. And the people there were very busy. I don't like to live in that place.

I am happy with my new house.

Willie and his little dog Bounce were best friends. Willie taught his dog many interesting tricks, and often said that Bounce could do almost anything in the world but talk.

One day, Willie walked with Bounce down to the river, which was very close to his father Mr. Brown's store.

Willie began to throw stones into the water and watch ripples (涟漪). Bounce lay on the grass, enjoying the warm sunshine.

There were some logs (原木) floating in the river near the bank. Willie jumped upon one of them to see if he could throw a stone across the river. Just as he was about to throw, the log turned and he fell into the water. He was so scared, for he did not know how to swim, and there was no one nearby.

Not being a big water dog, poor Bounce ran up and down the bank two or three times, barking (叫), looking first at Willie and then around. Then he ran to Mr. Brown's store as fast as he could.

When he got there, he caught hold of Mr. Brown's clothes, then ran to the door, then back again, catching at him, barking and jumping. Mr. Brown realized something was wrong. He went with the dog.

Soon the father came to the river, and saw Willie struggling (挣扎) in the water. Luckily, his father saved him. When he got over his fear, no one seemed to be more delighted than Bounce, his true friend.

 Hi there! This is Cangshan and Erhai National Nature Reserve (苍山洱海国家自然保护区). Flowers and trees look great. My name's Li Peipei and I work with birds.

 In the afternoon, I get up at about 4:00, and then at 4:20p. m. I have breakfast. At  5:30p. m. I go into the forest(森林) and look for(寻找) birds. I write their names in my notebook. At 9:30 in the evening I have lunch. I often have hamburgers and bread. Some birds like my bread, too.

 At three o' clock in the morning I say goodbye to birds. From 3:20 a. m. to 5:00 a. m.,I write all the names on the computer. I have dinner at 5:15 a. m. At 5:45 a. m.,I go to bed and sleep.

I sleep in the day and I almost can't see the sun. But working with birds is great fun. Come to our national nature reserve and let's enjoy nature!

Some kids love computer games and spend too much time on them. They often hear Mom or Dad shout at them, "Enough! Turn off the computer and find some other things to do!"

Their parents are right. Why? If you're always playing computer games, you won't get enough exercise, so you may become fat. And if you spend too much time playing computer games, you'll have less time to make friends or do your homework. What's more, if you play computer games often, you may get angry easily and fight with others often. 

But here's the good news: Playing computer games for a short time can be OK. Just choose (选择) some good games and spend no more than two hours a day. Play the games for your age. You can play with your mom, dad or even your grandma together. It's a good way to relax. 

When I was 5 or 6 years old, I was a naughty (调皮) boy. One day, I tried to steal gum from the drugstore when my 1 took me shopping. I stood in front of the gum shelf, waiting for the right moment. After about 30 2 , I finally made my move, just as my mum was calling me to 3 . As we walked away, a store worker walked up to my mum and told her that I had taken a pack of gum.

My mum was really angry and insisted that it was 4 for me to do so. She thought her son was honest, good, and 5 lied or did anything bad. However, the store worker explained that all the workers, from the very beginning, had been watching me for half an hour. It was challenging for them to wait so long before I 6 did it. To prove they were wrong, my mum searched me, checked my pockets, and found 7 . The man was surprised, and my mum was proud and even scolded (责备) him.

Seeing the man's face turn red, I felt very sorry. I had to make a choice. As he started to walk away, I 8 my cap, reached inside, and offered the pack of gum to him. I said 9 with all my heart. Both the man and my mother were shocked, for different reasons.

Though I was punished, I felt less guilty because I 10 becoming a worse person. Better late than never.

Every year on May 1st, there is a school trip in Jim and Helen's School. Children like it very much, and they always have fun. Here is the notice for this year's trip.
