Nowadays, it's very usual for people {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(order) takeout, but did people eat takeout in ancient times?

Maybe you don't think so. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} fact, there was take out in the Song Dynasty (960 – 1279).  According to history books,  Emperor Xiaozong (1127–1194) liked ordering takeout late at night. His servants{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(go) out to pick up the dishes and bring them back to the palace.

Common people also ordered takeout. The owners of restaurants got their waiters to go out into the streets and ask loudly which dishes could {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(send) that day. People could then place an order. Delivery(快递)  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(work) would bring food to their homes later. In the famous Song Dynasty painting Along the River During the Qingming Festival(《清明上河图》).  {#blank#}6{#/blank#}takeout worker is doing delivery work.  We can easily see the man {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(walk) with food in his hand in a hurry.

People at that time even had boxes for takeout dishes. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} they weren't like normal boxes. They were long{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(wood) boxes with several layers(层).  People also used plates made of two layers of porcelain(瓷). Hot water could be put between the first layer and the{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(two). In this way, they could keep the dishes warm.

Spider monkeys are. New World primates（灵长类）. They get their names because they have very long limbs（四肢）and tails, which make them look like spiders. They are often seen with their limbs on different branches.

Spider monkeys can be in tropical forests of Central and South America, from southern Mexico to Brazil. They are 35 to 66 centimeters long and weigh 13 to 26 pounds. They have long tails that they use to catch tree branches, kind of like a 5th hand.

Spider monkeys live in groups. One group usually has dozens of spider monkeys. They communicate with each other through screeches（尖叫声）. A night, spider monkeys break off into smaller sleeping parties of about half a dozen or fewer. Unlike many other primates, males（雄性）stay together throughout their lives with the females. They leave their first groups to find another group.

When they go out to look for food, spider monkey groups take separate actions in order to avoid competition for it. They mainly eat fruit and nuts. They also eat other things like insects, honey, leaves, spiders and bird eggs. Spider monkeys actually play an important part in the spreading of seeds throughout the South American rain forests. Enemies that they need to keep an eye out for include animals like lions and crocodiles.

Spider monkeys are dying out. Woodcutting, which leads to the loss（丧失）of their natural living places, is playing a big role in their loss. These monkeys are also hunted for food, or to sell as pets. Spider monkeys are actually one of the most popular monkey pets around because of their look and their behavior. We must do something to protect them. After all, such good and interesting monkeys should live with humans for many years to come.

Since 2011, the Shanghai Peking Opera Company has held two seasons of "Youth Runway", a long-term opera development project hoping to find young opera talents (天才). 118 young performers have successfully showed 200 plays and classical (经典的) pieces. Most of them were born between 1995 and 2000, making them the company's newest p{#blank#}1{#/blank#}. They will show both classical and new plays in many different styles (风格).

"The Butterfly Lovers", one of the plays this spring, is changed from a s{#blank#}2{#/blank#} love story between a young poor man, Liang Shanbo, and Zhu Yingtai, the daughter of a rich family. They return as butterflies after their death (死亡). Another one, "Twelve Roles", which was shown in the summer, largely gets its i{#blank#}3{#/blank#} from an American film "12 Angry Men". Yueju opera, which developed around 1906 in Shengzhou, Zhejiang Province, is one of China's most famous operas. In the o{#blank#}4{#/blank#} days, people loved it because of its styles of singing and melodies (旋律) . Now, it is getting a new life. The performing season for young performers is held in its fifth year and has its own characteristic. Moreover, the project worked with BesTV to c{#blank#}5{#/blank#} a Yueju opera short video series (系列) about the 24 solar terms (节气) of the traditional Chinese calendar.

Every year, the China Shanghai International Arts Festival p{#blank#}6{#/blank#} chances for traditional opera performers like Yueju talents to perform. Many traditional opera performers have got fans among students and young performers in recent (最近的) years by showing how they prepare for a concert (演唱会) and behind-the- scenes stories with mobile apps on video websites.

They t{#blank#}7{#/blank#} many ways to make traditional art forms attractive (有吸引力的) to today's youth, including (包括) the creation of short opera films and the use of popular melodies. "We believe that Xiqu (traditional opera) like Yueju can attract today's young people because it can be mixed with different art forms," says Chen Daming, a theater critic.

①In today's busy world, research shows that more and more people are feeling "time poor". Time poverty（贫穷）can happen when study, work, or social duties take up too much of a person's time, leaving little or no time for fun or personal interests. It can also happen when people feel like they are running out of time to reach their goals or finish tasks before the deadline（截止日期）. Besides, we often say "yes" to any extra work. It could be to help your team or your friends. But by saying "yes" to everything, you are adding another task to an already full plate.

②People who don't have enough time fail to perform well at work and remain stressed. Too much stress can harm mental（心理的）health. Moreover, less quality（优质的）time with friends and families can make a person feel lonelier. So how can you stop being time poor?

③Firstly, manage your time properly. It may seem harmless to stay in bed till noon on weekends, but the time wasted every week can add up quickly if you don't realize it. In order to make better use of your time, you can make careful plans before you actually spend it. Try to find out what things in your life are not that important for now and put them off. In this way, you can stick to your plan and focus better on your work.

④Secondly, make quality time a true value in your life. It's important to focus on how you spend your time with someone or doing something. Train yourself to be more present in your life. That is to say, pay attention to one thing at a time. For example, when you are spending time with your family, be present and enjoy yourself rather than still worry about work.

⑤We are all given the same 24 hours each day. By managing your time properly and valuing quality time, you can make the most of your life and become the real owner of it.

Falling leaves and cold wind show the coming of another season. This year, Lidong starts {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

November 7th, It is a Chinese word for one of the 24 solar terms. 

To celebrate Lidong, people have many colorful {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (activity) that light up the cold days. One of the most popular customs（习俗）is to have {#blank#}3{#/blank#}big meal．Eating well helps people have energy to spend the cold {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (snow) days in winter, and prepare for the coming spring. In the north, people enjoy {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (have) dumplings. The Chinese word for dumpling-jiaozi has a similar pronunciation（发音）to the word "change"＿＿ jiao．It {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(mean) celebrating the change of autumn to winter. While in the south, people {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (usual) eat chicken, duck and fish. 

According to history, Lidong was also a time for people {#blank#}8{#/blank#}({#blank#}9{#/blank#}keep) vegetables. In the past, there {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (be) not many fresh vegetables to eat in winter. Therefore, around Lidong some people in the north began to keep vegetables like cabbages        green onions. However, most people buy fresh vegetables in the supermarket today.
