Sam's dad told camping stories all through dinner. "Once I saw a snake outside my tent. Did I tell you about that?" Sam shook his head and tried not to look impatient. In fact, he really wanted to get out to the tent in the backyard (后院). His friend, Kent would go there.

①We usually think that garbage is dirty and useless. However, an art exhibition(展览) in 2022 proves that "useless" things can actually be helpful. 

②Dear Pretty Rubbish, an art event organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWFN) and digital media art company Blackbow, was held in Beijing. It asked questions about the relationship between our lifestyles and our garbage. 

③"We hope that everyone who visited the show can think about how 'useless things' are produced, why they are tossed out and whether 'useless things' are really useless. " said Cao Yujia, the design director at Blackbow. 

④The organizers said that all the raw materials for the exhibition were collected from community garbage cans. 

⑤Artists Zhou Yuxuan and Liu Yifan collected nylon cable ties (尼龙扎带), LED lights and drink bottles from designers' workshops to create a work where plastics, in the shape of cells, "grow" in a corner. There, the lights blink (闪烁) to imitate (模仿) "breathing". When people walk near it, the work forms light patterns, as if communicating with the visitors. Speaking about the work, Zhou said, "It's like some kind of communication between humans and plastics. "

At the age of 73, Chen Shaoqi n from Beijing has shown the world how life should be lived.

Although she only had a middle school education, Chen began studying English at the age of 40 and passed a college entrance exam, making herself from a factory worker to a white- collar clerk in an international trade company. Chen continued to study art after retirement(退休) and finally became an art guide at the age of 67. Over the past five years, she has guided visitors at an art center for three days a week, totaling 3,500 hours.

From an old lady who knew nothing about modern art to a volunteer guide, Chen's hard work and love for learning have encouraged many people. She said that she must continue to learn. As a guide, she is able to attend professional training courses and has the chances to learn from artists and curators (馆长), which gives her encouragement to continue.

Chen has guided many exhibitions over the years, including those of famous artists like Zeng Fanzhi, Xu Bing, Qiu Zhijie and Pab lo Picasso. She believes that every tour is a beautiful journey and a new chance to learn and be moved. Her effort of learning and her ability to mix many subjects have made her an excellent guide. After turning73 this year, she believes that the width of one's life can be expanded(扩展) through self- improvement and learning.

Chen Shaoqi n is a best example that anyone can find their passion(热爱) and then learn, grow and share with others.

24-year-old Liu Wenyue is a young hanfu designer (设计师) . And she has her own clothes business in Zhejiang. Do you know {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Liu started the clothes business?

 Liu liked drawing at a young age and practiced drawing hard. When she was in college, Liu got interested {#blank#}2{#/blank#} hanfu. She thought the traditional Chinese clothing was {#blank#}3{#/blank#}( pretty) than others. However, Liu didn't have enough money to buy hanfu., {#blank#}4{#/blank#} she decided to design one herself. After Liu completed her first design, she shared it online. To her surprise, a hanfu businessman loved her design and wanted {#blank#}5{#/blank#}( buy) it. He also provided Liu with useful advice and led her own hanfu industry(工作室). She has designed about 500 sets of hanfu. Lots of the clothes {#blank#}6{#/blank#}( make) in the factory. One of the most popular hanfu is the horse-faced skirt.{#blank#}7{#/blank#}( it) Chinese name is Mamianqun. Many young people love it.

 Liu also learns from some traditional Chinese {#blank#}8{#/blank#}( painting) for her design. She thinks the flowers, birds and rocks in them look {#blank#}9{#/blank#}( live).

 Now Liu has many orders from foreign countries. She feels happy that the traditional Chinese clothing is spreading {#blank#}10{#/blank#}( wide). "Hanfu is able to fit people of all ages. I hope that more people will enjoy wearing hanfu," Liu said.
