【跨文化:中英茶文化】Both Chinese and British people(英国人) like drinking tea. But  they are different.

In China, people like drinking Chinese Kung Fu tea. Chinese Kung Fu tea is a way of      making tea. It started in Fujian. And it is now popular(流行的) in Guangdong, too.The tea-making process is very strict. People need to wash the teapot(茶壶) and cups first.Then, put the hot water into the teapot with tea leaves, make the tea leaves wait for a while,and then pour(倒) the tea into cups.

In the UK, people like drinking tea in the afternoon. Today, many hotels and tea rooms in  the UK have afternoon tea. People like putting milk and sugar in their tea. They also like eating    sandwiches and cakes when drinking tea.

If you are in big cities like Shanghai or Beijing, maybe you get to school by subway; or you have to {#blank#}1{#/blank#} to school because you live in a mountain village. Here I am just trying to say something about bicycles and buses.

Ten years ago, bicycles were very popular in most villages. Every family had one or two of them. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} went to school by bicycle; women rode bicycles to go shopping. Then motorcycles became popular. People no longer rode bicycles because motorcycles ran much {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. But now, in some countries bicycles are highly suggested as the main means of transportation. They think buses, cars and motorcycles pollute the air but bicycles do not. 

Buses are also very {#blank#}4{#/blank#} in our lives. In big cities, more than one third of the children get to school by bus and most people take buses to work. When we get up late, we usually take a taxi. But sometimes, we are late for school or work not because of getting up late but because of a {#blank#}5{#/blank#} jam. Too many taxis make our streets very crowded and sometimes it's dangerous. As for this problem, some countries have made the special roads for buses in big cities, just like trains in our country.

A lot of people like f{#blank#}1{#/blank#}food very much such as sandwiches, hamburgers and so on. But do you k{#blank#}2{#/blank#} the origin(起源) of the sandwiches?

A man named Sandwich was very rich. He was an Englishman, and he liked.to play cards with his f{#blank#}3{#/blank#}. He often played for 24 hours a day and didn't stop to have hismeals.He ordered his servants(仆人) to bring him some pork and bread. He put the meat b{#blank#}4{#/blank#}two pieces of bread. He held the food in his left hand while he played cards with his r{#blank#}5{#/blank#}hand. His friends all liked Sandwich'si{#blank#}6{#/blank#}and more and more people ate bread and meat as Sandwich did. From the name of the man, we have the word of the food "sandwich" today.

In Beijing, there are a lot of people. Many people take the subwav to work. It is fast and cheap. It helps to make less traffic jams (减少交通堵塞)on the road. People can go to work on time.

A red double-decker(双层)bus is carrying people to work in London. It runs across the city from stop to stop. People like to go to work by bus. Taking a bus is very interesting in London.

In Los Angeles (洛杉矶), people often go to work by car. Sometimes they go by bus. They like to go to work by taxi if they are in a hurry. Taking a taxi can be quickly, but it can make traffic jams, too.

Different people have different ways to go to work. What about your ways?
