Lao She was one of the greatest Chinese writers of the  century. In 1913, his mother sent him to a teacher's school and he became a teacher. In 1924, he went to a college in London to teach Chinese. 5 years later, he  to China. In his life, he wrote many plays, and short stories. In many of his works, he  the lives of common people in China. He was named "the People's Artist". 

People built the Lao She Teahouse in Beijing according to (根据) his play Teahouse. You can enjoy the Beijing Opera, traditional music and magic shows there. It a warm welcome to everyone from all over the world.
