Do animals have their culture? Recent years social scientists have begun to ask if some animals have their culture too. When we think of culture, we mean a way of life that a group of people have in common. Culture is the {#blank#}1{#/blank#} and beliefs(信仰) that a country or a group has. It is the way of behavior that helps people live together. It is also the way of behavior that makes a group of people {#blank#}2{#/blank#} other groups.

Our culture makes us lose strength, claw(爪子), long teeth, and other defenses(防卫). Instead, we use tools, cooperate with one another, and communicate with language. But this kind of "culture" can also be found in the lives of some animals. We {#blank#}3{#/blank#} think that the ability to use tools was the dividing line(分界线) between human beings and other animals. However, we have found that some animals can not only use tools but also make tools themselves. Animals can also{#blank#}4{#/blank#} knowledge with each other and use their own language to communicate. So it may be important for us to know that the line diving us from animals is not as clear as we used to think.

It was half past five in the evening when Sarah came home from work. She walked into the living room and looked after three children. The children were fourteen, thirteen and 'nine years old. They were watching TV. The room was dirty and untidy. There were empty glasses and dirty clothes on the floor. There were cakes on the sofa. Toys were everywhere.

Two weeks later, every dish in the house was dirty. All the children's clothes were dirty, too. Every trash can,（垃圾桶）was full. The whole house was dirty and untidy. 

Then one day Sarah got very surprised when she came home from work. The kitchen was clean. The children cleaned the kitchen! The next day, the living room was clean, and the children were washing their clothes. Sarah told the children. "OK, III do housework again. But you must help me."

Now Sarah and the three children do the housework together. Then they all sit in the sofa and watch TV. 

It was a morning in June in Datong, Shanxi Province. Along the 1 , people were on their way to work. Suddenly, sweet music was 2 around the street. A woman wearing the 3 of a city cleaner was sitting on the street corner playing the saxophone (萨克斯管) . Beside her sat a beggar, eating noodles 4 a big smile on his face.

First of all, have a plan. You can make a plan for a week or for a longer time. If you're studying for an important exam, you should make a long-term plan.{#blank#}2{#/blank#}If it doesn't, change your plan in time.

Next, think about your environment. Make sure the place for studying is comfortable with enough light and fresh air, not too hot or too cold. If you think you do it better with music, you can put some music on and see if it's true.{#blank#}3{#/blank#}But for other people, it can make it harder to concentrate (集中注意力).

Third, take breaks while studying. You can plan your study time in periods (时间段) with breaks in between. Some experts advise you to take a 10-minute break after 30 minutes of studying.{#blank#}4{#/blank#}During your short break, you can treat yourself to something like green tea, but I wouldn't suggest chocolate because sugar can make it harder to concentrate.

Finally, think about what you do when you're studying.{#blank#}5{#/blank#}If that works for you, then great! However, I suggest writing notes while studying because it helps your mind process the information better!

Blue is a very common color in our lives-the sky, the sea and even face masks are often blue. But this color is not frequently(经常) seen in plants. Why is that?
