When Kyle walked into Paul's Pet World, he looked very anxious. He walked quickly to the store owner, Paul. Paul jumped out of his seat to greet Kyle. He was the store's first customer of the day.
“Good morning, sir!” Paul said. “What can I help you with?”
“Well, I…,” Kyle started to say.
“Wait, don't tell me,” Paul stopped him. “You are looking for a…a new dog… for your daughter's birthday. Right?”
“Not really, I just…”
Paul didn't let him finish. “Ah, I've got it. You just opened a new business, and you want some fish for your office. I have some very nice goldfish over here.”
“Actually, I…” Kyle was starting to look very anxious. His face had a strange look on it.
“No fish? Ah, a cat! You look like a cat person. At Paul's Pet World, we have the best cats. Take a look at this cat— long, white hair. She is looking at you. She is thinking, “Take me home. Take me home.” Would you like some cat food and toys as well?”
l“No, thank you,” Kyle said. By this time, he had a pained look on his face. “Really, I'm no interested in cats or fish or dogs.”
“What do you want, then?” Paul asked.
Kyle looked like he was going to cry. “I just want to know if I can use your restroom!” he finally said.

    Leon was a postman. Every day after Leon woke up, he would feed his 37 cats. Leon didn't really want 37 cats, but one by one they had turned up on his doorstep, and Leon had taken them in.

    Every day, after feeding the cats, Leon would collect the mail from the red postboxes in the village and take it home to sort（分类）. “If only I had 37 helpers instead of 37 cats, my job would be so much easier,” Leon thought. Just then, the cats started meowing for their dinner. That gave Leon an idea. That night, Leon stayed up making 37 cat-sized postal backpacks. Each backpack fitted neatly onto a cat's back.     The next day, Leon put a backpack on each cat and dropped off the cats around the village. Leon knew that the cats would be happy lazing around all day. He also knew that they would always come home for dinner. Leon spent the day relaxing, waiting for his helpers to return. Leon was right. The cats did return, but they did not bring home many letters. Somehow, the cats had managed to wriggle（蜿蜒而行） out of their backpacks. Or lose their letters. Or get the letters wet. “Cats are just too unreliable（不可靠的）” Leon thought. Just then, there was a scratching（刮擦声） at Leon's door. A dog was waiting to be invited inside. That gave Leon an idea.

Freda Lewis was a popular young woman in town but she sometimes acted strangely.And she was always forgetting something.

One day her mother asked Freda to go to the bank to get some money.It was a really cold，windy，winter day，Freda forgot that she was still wearing the mask and went inside.

Freda walked up to the window，and the teller （出纳员） got panicky because she saw a person wearing a mask.Without saying a word，the teller gave Freda ＄10，000 in an envelope.Freda did not open the envelope before leaving the bank and had no idea she was carrying so much money.

After Freda left，the teller called the police and said that her bank had just been held up by a robber （劫匪） who was wearing a mask.Freda was on her way back home when she noticed there were three police cars.The police made her stop.The poor girl was frightened to death，and didn't know why the police would be after her.The police pulled her out of the car and forced her to the ground.

When a police officer pulled off the mask，they all found it was Freda，and realized that someone had made a mistake.Once the police explained why they were there，Freda told them that she always wore a mask in winter and that she must have forgotten she was wearing it when she entered the bank.

When the police asked the bank teller if Freda had demanded the money，the teller realized that she had made a big mistake.Luckily，no one was hurt，and everything was returned to the bank.

I dreamed about {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(travel) to Hong Kong when I was a little boy. And this time my dream finally came true. So when I got to Hong Kong {#blank#}2{#/blank#} July 27th, I felt so excited. I know it's one of the {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(popular) cities in China. It was so hot {#blank#}4{#/blank#}we ate a lot of ice-cream. I wanted to go to Disneyland for {#blank#}5{#/blank#}long time, so our trip began in Disneyland. In the park, I saw lots of cartoon {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(character) such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Donald Duck made by Walt Disney, a very {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(talent) man. And we took part in some great activities. Everybody enjoyed themselves. During the following days, we visited many other interesting places. It took us 6 days {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(learn) about the life and culture there. I {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(true)hope I can go there again some day.
