Hans Christian Andersen (安徒生) was born in a poor {#blank#}1{#/blank#}^.He was very interested in arts {#blank#}2{#/blank#}he was a little boy. At the age of 14, he left his hometown and started a new life {#blank#}3{#/blank#}a singer, dancer, and actor in a big city. However, he wasn't successful at first and became very {#blank#}4{#/blank#}Later in his life, Andersen {#blank#}5{#/blank#}a lot of money from a rich person and he used it to go to university and entered the world of {#blank#}6{#/blank#}Andersen's first book of fairy tales (童话故事), which was published in 1835, sold very well, so he {#blank#}7{#/blank#} writing stories. In his whole life, he wrote many fairy tales {#blank#}8{#/blank#} he died in 1875.Andersen's fairy tales were not only for young children {#blank#}9{#/blank#} also for people of all ages. It was raining heavily as I was walking up the hill towards the station at six o'clock on a Saturday morning. At this early hour there wasn't much traffic and there weren't many people. Just as I was crossing the road near the top of the hill, a car came around the corner. It was traveling very fast. Suddenly it hit a lamp post and turned over.

    I ran to the car to help the driver at once. He was badly hurt and there was a lot of blood on his face. A young woman hurried into the station and phoned for an ambulance, while I took care of the driver. Many people came to see what happened. A policeman arrived a few minutes later and asked me a lot of questions about the accident. After a while the ambulance arrived and the driver was sent to the hospital.

    On Monday morning I went to the hospital to see the man. The doctor told me that he was much better, and he would leave the hospital after a few day's rest.

In the morning, we have four classes. At 8:00, we have the first class. It is always maths, English or Chinese. My favourite subject is maths. Why? Because I love numbers very much. The second class begins at 9：00. After the class，we have a break（课间休息）. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}The next two classes are from 10:00 to 11:45. And then we have lunch in the school dining hall at 12:00. I like to eat food there. In the afternoon, we always have PE, art or music. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} In the PE class, I can play sports. How interesting! Our classes finish at 4:00. Then we can go home.
