I finally got a chance to visit the beautiful Taj Mahal(泰姬陵) in India. Since I was a child, the Ta j Mahal  (be) the place I've always wanted to visit. I was  (excite) when my family decided to visit India with me. Before our trip, I searched for information it, but when I saw it in person, it was much  (beautiful). I believe no visit to India is complete without a trip to it.

The Taj Mahal is an ivory— white tomb(象牙白的陵墓) on the Yamun a River in the Indian city of Agra. The emperor Sha h Jahan finished  (build) it in 1653 and placed the tomb of his favorite wife. It. us also the tomb of Shah Jahan  . he). Words can never be enough (describe) the beauty of this building of love.

As one of the most famous man- made (wonder) in the world, the Taj Mahal is considered as the symbol of India by local people. To hear about the Taj Mahal's history is one thing,  to see and feel it by yourself is a different experience.

This is really  unforgettable trip for me!

 阅读下列短文,从每题所给的四个选项(A、B、C、D)中选出最佳选项。

Do you feel lonely(孤单的) when your best friend isn't in the same class? Here's our advice for you.

It's hard when a best friend isn't around— maybe because he or she moved to a different school or a different class. You may feel left out during break or lunchtime. You want to make new friends, but how do you find them? Maybe it seems like everybody has his or her own friends. But remember, there's always room(空间) for more friends.

Start by looking around your classroom— think about which kids you'd like to play with during break. Try saying hello to them, smile, and be friendly. Share something with them. Ask some classmates to play with you or say " Do you want to play together?" in the playground. When you're at break, walk to kids you want to play with, and say " Hi, can I join you?" or just join in them.

If you still don't know how to make friends by yourselves or if you're shy, ask your teacher to help you. Teachers are usually very good at finding people who need friends. The best way to make friends is to be a friend. Being kind, being friendly, sharing, saving nice things, giving other people— soon, you'll have one, or two, or more new friends.

Maybe you still miss your old friends. But when you see them again, you can share something you see recently. You can also introduce him or her to your new friends.
