Last summer,Cathy's whole family went to New York City for their summer vacation. They stayed there for two weeks.

New York City has more than seven and a half million people.{#blank#}1{#/blank#} It is also the home of the United Nations.

First they visited the Statue of Liberty. The Statue of Liberty is one of New York's most well-known places.{#blank#}2{#/blank#} On the second day they went to the Empire State Building. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}From the top of the building, they saw most parts of New York. On the third day they visited the Metropolitan Museum.{#blank#}4{#/blank#} During the rest time of the week, Cathy went to Bronx Zoo with her younger brother and sister. There they were glad to see a lot of their favourite animals-tigers, lions, monkeys, and elephants.

{#blank#}5{#/blank#} On the island, they spent most of their time swimming sunbathing and playing on the beach. They all had a good time.

A group of children gathered (聚集) around their grandfather. They were filled with excitement and curiosity(好奇). That day, there had been quite a fierce(激烈的) fight between two adults, their grandfather was called in to mediate. The children were curious to hear what he had to say about it. One of the children asked a question to the grandfather that was puzzling(使困惑) him.

"Grandfather, why do people fight?"

The old man replied," Well, do you know, my child, we all have two wolves inside us? They are in our chest(胸膛)…and these wolves are fighting each other at times."

The eyes of the children had grown big by now.

"In our chests too, Grandfather?" asked another child. The grandfather nodded his head and said," Yes."

"And in your chest too?" asked a third one. The grandfather replied," Yes, in my chest too."

The grandfather surely had all the children's attention now, and went on," There is a white wolf and a black wolf. The black wolf inside us is filled with fear, lies, anger and sadness. The white wolf is filled with peace, love, hope and kindness. And do you know there is always a terrible fight between the two wolves?"

Then he stopped. There was complete silence and all the children were looking toward him.Finally, the grandson who asked the first question could not wait anymore and broke the silence," ButGrandfather, which wolf wins?"

The old man smiled and replied," That's simple... the one we feed more."

Grandparents called me one day. They asked me to spend my vacation with them. They lived in a village. It was quiet and cool in summer. I was very happy and thanked them. I told them to go when my summer vacation began. 

It was July 15th. My parents took me to the supermarket and we bought some delicious food for my grandparents. The next morning dad took me to the train station. It was the first time for me to have a trip by myself. But I wasn't afraid and felt relaxed. The train left at eight twenty. I looked out of the window and found it was beautiful outside. I wasn't tired at all. At three twenty in the afternoon I arrived at the station. I saw my grandpa standing outside. I got off the train and ran to him. He was happy when he saw me. His village was about two kilometers from the station. We got there by bus. There were lots of trees and flowers around it. The village looked very beautiful. 

Kaitlin Douglass is a middle school PE teacher at Big Rapids Middle School in Michigan, US. She started to 1 ways to introduce activities with wheelchairs（轮椅） into her classes. This idea was inspired 2 the parent of one of her students, who uses a wheelchair, reached out to her. 

Chase Fuller, an 11-year-old from Big Rapids, has used a wheelchair since an accident in 2019. Chase has developed a love for wheelchair basketball and wanted to know if there was a 3 to have wheelchair activities in his PE classes at school. 4 about the idea, Douglass, worked with Fuller's mother to make it happen. 

The class has also tried a few different activities. They 5 wheelchair pickleball（匹克球）, wheelchair volleyball and wheelchair football. According to Douglass, wheelchair volleyball and basketball have been the most popular sports the class has tried on wheels. 

"I can see how bringing in the wheelchair has given some of my 6 a better understanding of those who need to use a wheelchair day in and day out," Douglass told the media. For the able-bodied students in the class, they can 7 know where their weaknesses are while trying different sports. Then they can think about how they can turn them into strengths, according to Douglass. 

Douglass spent long hours researching these sports. She also hopes to make these kinds of sports more 8 in school. She believes this will give students challenges and chances to grow. 

I spent ten days on vacation with my parents and it was great.

My parents take part in "Euro bike" activities every day. They often ask me to1 , but I always say no. This year I wanted to make a2 . I was tired of my job and my life. I3 to change my life. So when my parents asked this year, my 4 was " Yes!" Then I went to Paris a week before my 5 arrived, just to visit my favorite city by myself, and then I 6 them in Versailles to start the activity. It was wonderful to7 about a week with my parents.

First of all, they 8 thought I was a little girl. Every night before I left their hotel room and walked to9 , my mom said "good night" and "be careful"10 me, I felt like I was still their little11 .

Second, the vacation was12 .We talked about13 in our lives like music, sports, jobs and so on. They were14 because I took a vacation with them.

Taihang Grand Canyon National Forest Park is a natural wonder. It lies in the{#blank#}1{#/blank#} part of Huguan County. There are some sweet springs, silver waterfalls, clear {#blank#}2{#/blank#}and interesting caves there. 

I always remember the journey going there. In the early morning, we began to{#blank#}3{#/blank#} the canyon. At{#blank#}4{#/blank#} , the canyon was silent. With more and more people coming, the canyon became noisy. There were so many trees and we didn't know most of them. Some signs along the paths told us something about different sights. We heard the loud waterfalls far away from them. When we got near, we{#blank#}5{#/blank#} cool at once. The waterfalls were high and pretty. We also visited some other sights and had great fun there.
