How to Learn English Well

Many of my classmates have difficulty in learning English. 

Most people would stay away from bees while meeting them. However, if your goal (目标)is to grow a{#blank#}1{#/blank#} and productive (丰收的) garden, you will want to bring on bees. 

How to attract (吸引) bees? 

Plant! Plant! Plant! Plant not only {#blank#}2{#/blank#} but also flowers. Bees are attracted by colours and purple, yellow, white and blue are their{#blank#}3{#/blank#}. If possible, you should be careful to plant different flowers for bees to choose from. Be sure to plant some flowers in sunny areas. Bees like warm and bright places better than cool and dark ones. 

Another part of learning how to attract bees is to always leave a place for wild grass or flowers near your garden. This is where bees can live comfortably and{#blank#}4{#/blank#}. You can also design (设计) a bee house for the bees to live in. To do this, you can use several pieces of bamboo tied{#blank#}5{#/blank#}. Place the house close to the ground because bees prefer living close to the ground. Preparing such a place can make sure that they will enjoy and never want to leave.

Be sure to leave water around for them to drink. Once the bees are there and active, you will have a fruitful garden. 

Most people have heard of the Great Wall of China, but not many people outside of China know about the Grand Canal(大运河).This manmade waterway, known in China as Da Yunhe, is 1，700 kilometres long and some parts of it are more than 2，000 years old.It links(连接) the north of China with Hangzhou, a city in the southern part of the country.It's the longest manmade waterway in the world.

 It was built as a way to transport food from the rich land in China's south to cities in the north.In fact, it's not one canal, but a system of canals and rivers linked together.

It's still an important part of the transport system in China.Thousands of boats use it every day to transport food and many other kinds of things.

China is now doing new work on the Grand Canal.It is making part of it deeper, so bigger ships can pass.The canal will also help to move water.There is a lot of rain in the south of China, but not so much in the north.The canal will carry lots of water from the south to the north.

The Grand Canal is much less famous than the Great Wall, and not very many visitors know it.But it sees the changes in Chinese history.It's possible to go on a trip along some of the oldest parts of the canal.Visitors can see beautiful parts of China that others don't see.

How long is Da Yunhe?

A. Hong Kong is called the Shopping Paradise in Asia, People can buy almost everything in Hong Kong such as the latest fashions, all kinds of toys, digital products and so on.

B. When people talk about Chengdu, the first thing that comes to their minds is pandas. Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base is a must- visit place in Chengdu, especially for those planning to go on a panda tour around Sichuan.

C. Harbin lies in the south of Heilongjiang Province in China. With a 190- day freezing(极冷的) season, Harbin is known as the" City of Ice". If you are a fan of ice sports, you can't miss the place.

D. As one of the oldest cities in China, Xian is world- renowned for the many cultural and historical sites around the city. It's called the" Natural History Museum", which records the great changes of China just like a history book.

E. Because of Guangzhou's special geographical location, people there feel like they are in spring all year round. That's why it is called the" Flower City". Different kinds of flowers are on show at the Spring Festival Flower Fair every year.

F. Shanxi is the province with the largest number of ancient architectural(建筑的) site s in the country. It is known as the" Ancient Chinese Architecture Museum of Art". The most attractive buildings in its capital city Taiyuan are the Jinci Temple and Twin Pagoda Temple.
